    Former Governor: Cotton Eye Joe
    City: Minoc

Q1: So the question on many players minds is, what made you decide to run for governor?

A1: Well, long ago, before many of the current RPers were playing or active, I used to mingle in the RP crowd. I guess the last real time I had any part in the RP crowd was with Pax, although I never did fully embrace it. What made me run, was a couple of things. 1) I've lived just north of Minoc in the gated community of Sosaria. So its my home-town. 2) My good friend was running for mayor of a city, and it was a divide and conquer tactic. We ended up winning both elections.

Q2: What unique opportunities and activities do you plan to bring to your city over the next six months?

A2: There are many events and ideas I have and been trying to actually push forward. My first event was a pvp event using only pickaxes. It was an odd event, but one I found to be entertaining, and for the few contestants who showed up, I think they enjoyed it as well. Something like that hasn't been done. I like to do story events, which we are in the middle of a good one right now -- as well as -- off the wall events, and bridge the gap between RP and PvP. PvP is a great part of the game, and I want to get the RP community more involved. On the other side of that coin, RP is fun, and I want to get the PvP community more involved -- which has been a huge success so far. Soon as the Governor of Brit is better from his illness, I'll continue back on one of my story events.

Q3: The election seemed to be neck and neck this cycle, what and or whom do you contribute to your successful campaign?

A3: There are a lot of people to thank for this. It was a tough campaign. I came from nowhere, and had to battle and talk to people to convince them I would be the right choice. in the end, I won. If I had to name a few people who made it possible, Murc, Nogo, Amitlu, a bunch of the people in TOKE guild. Couldn't have won if it wasn't for some unnamed people who decided to support me last minute. I would like to say proudly, I, nor anyone getting votes for Minoc, paid for a single vote. It was all done by hard campaigning. Other cities can't say that.

Q4: King Blackthorn, Friend? For? Or Neutral?

A4: The King and I have had a good relationship thus far. We are in the middle of an investigation and we both have been very friendly with one another. Obviously the King has been upset with some of the things happening in Minoc. Dead miner, unknown substances, and some other issues. But, time and time again I prove I'm not at fault, and evil, corrupted citizens of Sosaria are behind these horrible acts.

Q5: What do you purpose to do about the perceived inter-fighting among the governors that is on clear display at the Governor's Meetings with King Blackthorn?

A5: I think when the next elections come, it'll be even more interesting. Right now, the great divide comes from the RP community rejected the PvPer presence at the table. Where, I think they should embrace change, and be more welcoming to more people into the RP community. There isn't many of us left, so excluding anyone is hurtful -- unless they are causing a problem.

Q6: What is your greatest concern about the current state of Britannia?

A6: The unknown. A lot of strange things have been happening all of Britannia. Kidnapped governors, unknown substances, slain workers. Crime and mischief in Britannia is at an all time high. Hopefully my team lead by the great Royal Guard of Minoc La Quintrala, will help find, capture, and bring these fear mongers to justice.

Q7: What is your stance on the different sentient species of our realm?

A7: I'm not real sure what your wanting from me on this question. I'm perfectly happy with the mixture of species in the realm. My concern is the cultures they bring, that goes against the laws of Britannia. Right now, my goal is to continue to working to clean the streets, bring all of us Sosarians together, so we can live a happy and peaceful life.

    Governor: Kal Vas Cri Mort
    City: Jhelom

Q1: So the question on many players minds is, what made you decide to run for governor?

A1: Power! Just kidding. I ran for Governor because I've been a part of the Chesapeake community for a long time and the position was suggested by many in-game acquaintances.

Q2: What unique opportunities and activities do you plan to bring to your city over the next six months?

A2: I'd like to host 2v2 and 3v3 PvP events with certain ruleset and prizes for winners and second place. I'm open to ideas.

Q3: The election seemed to be neck and neck this cycle, what and or whom do you contribute to your successful campaign?

A3: Hard work, shard support and my campaign managers were clutch in securing Victory. Thanks you guys, you know who you are ;-).

Q4: King Blackthorn, Friend? For? Or Neutral?

    4. Neutral.

Q5: What do you purpose to do about the perceived inter-fighting among the governors that is on clear display at the Governor's Meetings with King Blackthorn?

A5: Well, we need to come together and create an atmosphere for the players of Chesapeake. For a long while, the Governor positions have been held exclusively by one guild. Cotton and I are the only outsiders. So, the dynamics at these meeting will definitely be different and events planned will be different in the next month's to come. I won't agree with things I find silly. I respect the RP. On the state of the shard, we've seen more PvP, more spawns are being done than they were 3 to 4 months ago. Players have transferred to chessy just to PvP. We just have to maintain and facilitate a fun shard to not only farm on but fight as well.

Q6: What is your greatest concern about the current state of Britannia?

A6: For Britannia there is much concern. The most important is reaching the developers and suggesting implementations that can improve our gameplay/content/pvp. I've listed many of these ideas ingame,on the forums and directly to Mesanna herself. You can find some of these suggestions on stratics.

Q7: What is your stance on the different sentient species of our realm?

A7: Be nice to gargoyles and elfs, humans!

I will be making my way around to each Governors Office throughout the month with more questions. Citizens please feel free to send me any questions you may have for your Governor.

PROS - Covered alot of topics
CONS - Need to dig deeper on King Blackthorn. He is an imposter. Some say golem/ human hybrid.
