Losing More Than Many Will Realize: JP GrimmOmen Says Goodbye

Since some do not have my FB posts:

I'm posting as Karina, not Airmid, not Stratics Community Coordinator. Grimm is leaving us and not by his choice but as always he has put the UO community first and himself on the line to do what he has always done, treat the UO community with dignity, honesty and loyalty.

I have considered JP and his wife Matt as friends for a long time now. The foundation of that friendship was built on a unified joy of a long time game that many consider out of date and in need of love. Grimm has put his all into that world and has always kept communication open along the way of reaching those goals with us and for us.

I don't pretend to understand decisions made or the authority behind it, but I do voice the opinion of so many that have messaged me asking what the hell? Why would anyone want to cast a dark cloud over a milestone opportunity of a 15yr anniversary?

All I know is we've suffered a great loss this week and there is no making up for it to the community who enjoyed his openness and willingness to talk, not just on forums but face to face at all the meet ups over the years.

I hope the ripple effect is shared and reaches Grimm to let him know how much he is appreciated and will be missed.
