Hmmmm.... still nothing, folks being silent and secretive. Nothing builds community like putting ingredients on certain corpses and then tell folks: Maybe they should put a timer on the ingredients required for the preperations so everyone is on equal footing and the scripters don't win out in a landslide.
I'll say this: They lurk in one of the most poorly designed areas in the game, and are far more trouble than they are worth.
Thx.... at least that narrows it down a bit. I can knock the 5 well designed areas off tha map j/k for ya devs if'n u read.
Hmm I wish that helped narrow it down for me...but there are so many areas I could see being called poorly designed lol
Hmmm... one of the most poorly designed areas in the game.....and "below"... I honestly dont know what area/dungeon those 2 hints would both apply to
Still can only think of the one place that didn't have anything. "Someplace you wouldn't want to go in real life" is too subjective. Too hot here to give it more thought, too..
From the hints, I'd guess the Britain Sewers, since they're one of the few dungeon places that have a real world analogue, and last time I remember being in there, you could only target things that were next to you, which I'd call a poor design
LOL I typed something mean and then backed spaced over it. I should get the opposite of an infraction.
They did when I was little. Slimes and rats. Oh and those cute froggies that made me want to be a tamer.
For the 15th anniversary, they should redesign the Britain Sewers to not be a complete and utter failure in every conceivable way.
The sewers should be completely redone. No line-of-sight issues. Less useless space. More interesting mobs (a la Ultima Underworld II) No insta-death locations like now. An underground waterway allowing rowboat use. Long, long, long, tunnel to Buc's Den (a la Ultima VI) A keyless "lurker" champ spawn like Navrey or Cora. etc.
The sewer is a passage way to a champ spawn, IMO, it's not a destination, it's a road. I've never been underwhelmed by a passage way, but I can understand why you guys might want it to be re-vamped. But if there was a dungeon re-vamp for a passage way, I'd much rather the re-vamp be Tram only. I don't really care to have to run an extra mile and deal with a peerless just to use a passage way. My main problem is with dungeons that feel half-assed, like the Blighted Grove, for example. Such little real estate there, and dealt with by make-you-walk sand and a bit of a wall maze. That's a place designed to be an area to adventure, yet it's small as heck. Bedlam is rather small as well, but at least it's more to the point. Speaking of which, even a place like the Labyrinth could be expanded upon. Perhaps even turned into a Prison of Nightmares-like setup, haha.
I used to spend so much time in that little T2A swamp taming the frogs and then the frenzied ostards. You know how the bridge would prevent them from getting to you, but you could still tame them? Haha.
I seem to remember slimes in brit sewers long ago also...Hmmm old age catching up to me.. And yes the little frogs are nice, but think there still there.. Them blighted slimes are meen on a mage char ... Now to find the npc for all this stuff....
I think I can safely say that Brit sewers is the most frustating spot to try to hunt anything that exists in the entire game. How the heck is anyone killing these things that you can't see, wherever you stand, and can't reach to loot if you do manage to kill one?
You forgot that little problem they added at the far end that makes it so that if you walk off the edge of the platform near the exit to T2A you can't go back. Would be nice to see that fixed in the process.
They are all throughout the sewers but Tamers Beware , I keep my pet fed yet while fighting the slimes my dragon went wild... and before you all ask I am 120 , tame . lore , vet , and no its all skill no jewelry.. I really hope this old pet bug is not back
