I've been pretty inactive for a few months & I'm just starting to wrap my head around the possibilites of Re-Forging. I'm looking to rebuild my PvP Mage & from those of you that have experiece just curious what the New / over powered etc etc Mage Temps are these days. I'm talking staight up Field PvP possibly with small groups, but not planning on Mystic stoneform grinder fights or Arena dules vs DP Necros with 18 HPR suits heh. Just a good old all around PvP mage, but I'm guessing there's improvements to be made with Re-forging. Thx. Ps... Preferably "Skilled" Mage temp meaning 30% SDI cap bc that's just the way I'm inclined, but include anything you see dominating etc.
You can build a macer pure mage with inscription. Will require reforged to get the mods you want on suit. But throwing in mortal and 35 dmg AI's with nuke SDI is fun. If you can get a flamestrike up and time you AI right thats 80+ dmg you deliver instantly
Yeah... I was considering a variation on a skilled Tactics mage, but it was based off of how Hit Fatigue works. The Basic idea was that I know macing weapons do roughly 75% of damage as stamina loss, so it occured to me that if Hit Fatigue was effective you could "stam out" other mages VERY easily with just a few hits. The problem is that Fatigue is a max of 20% of dmg deal wich is nada if uoguide is correct... Ah well I guess I could test, but yea Tac mages can be fun! Waraxe for me though heh.
