  1. Planted 58 seeds with fertile dirt and only 2 have had a growth spurt. Any other gardeners finding similar results with fertilizer?

I was never impressed with the amount of growth spurts I got with fertile dirt. I felt lucky if a plant got one growth spurt during it's life-cycle.

I think they should change the way fertile dirt works to make it more useful: instead of a random double growth, it should just cut the cycle in half so you get two growth checks per day instead of one.
    Shelleybean and Spellbound like this.

I tried fertile dirt when they first put it into the game, but I didn't think the occasional growth spurts were worth the effort. I never bother with it now.
  4. Sadly, it seems like the S#%}^ odds are the norm. Would be nice have your idea implemented, Barok!

Same here. I long ago stopped bothering with fertile dirt.
