I have done several of these things, but this last one has me baffled I get all loaded and ready to go, click start transfer...get to select shard...i select Napa (where I am wanting to go from Lake Superior)....the packies and self go dark and then POOF all the packies are around me in a circle and the transfer is canceled. Anyone know of anything to check? Have made sure I have slot on Napa, log in and out, moved from my house to Luna Inn...am I missing something else?
The only thing I can think of that might be happening is that somehow you are over the 900 item limit which is 6x125 (backpack and 5 packy total) +150 in your bank, or you are on a mount. You cannot xfer on a mount either. Anyone who has had a vendor at a house that was worn knows if you collect it from the house sign it will overload your bank with the remaining items and checks from the gold it is holding. I forgot about the increased storage you can purchase. In that case you would have a max item limit of 920 because the bank would hold 170!!
Max bank is 175 not 150 or 170. Make sure you arein a safe log out point. I go to Luna upstairs and go inside the room to make sure I am in a good logout spot.
I have been attempting to talk to GMs. They actually talk to me and then for some some reason they go silent. I gave up and logged in this morning to a GM asking me to explain what is going on...hahahha. Still nothing, except are you mounted, you in a safe log out location. Still chatting so maybe something will come up.
PS...even tho I have the additional storage, on a transfer before now, it would not allow more than the 125 bank storage and backpack
i did a transfer last night on one of the shield tokens and i had my bank box up at 175 items and another 100 in my pack. no problems.
Well, after chatting with a GM for an hour about this, still nothing was fixed. They had to send me to the next tier and they are not sure when someone will be able to help me with this. Was told not to attempt to transfer with this account until I hear otherwise. I swear I wonder sometimes why I still pay for this treatment. How freaking hard can it be to figure this one out. Oh well, maybe I should try another account just to see if it my account. But I know that I have been transferring this char from LS to Napa several times without a problem until now. Had to quit playing in January when classes started, so put it all on hold. Might get moved my next Christmas at this rate
Napa is closed to the public for renovations. Haha I'm just kidding. What a pain in the butt. I suggest putting everything away and waiting a day or so. I had a friend lose everything in a transfer. If it's acting all buggy it's better just to wait.
