being new and all just about cant stand this freezing up . Yes i have reinstalled over an over an repaired it.Reinstalling atm again to see what happens. Is it just me or does memory take at least 400,000 kb's to play? Ther any chance of a memory leak that can be fixed or something? Maybe a way to clear memory when it gets so high . I know Uo has the drop down and bring it back up it clears it back too a couple megs .
What's your system specs? WoW takes a good chunk of RAM to play well - 512 you can get by, but you really need at least 1 GB to run smooth.
Amd 3800 dualcore 2 gigs memory pci express 256m nvida xp pro 22 hp monitor asus a8n-sli pre board mostly freezes up during Im in a city under attack -so much spam of it in my text box Looting Runnin across terrian.
You shouldn't be having those problems with that system. I would check on your video settings and see if you can bring anything down to increase performance (but that shouldn't be an issue with those specs). I would definitely check and see if there's any updated drivers for your video card though. Nvidia has had some problems they've since fixed with recent drivers. Are you running XP or Vista?

[/ QUOTE ] I had all kinds of problems on my old system (512 RAM). Ironforge was horribly laggy for me. But my current one is similar to yours and I've got almost no issues. Occasionally it loots a little slow, but that's about it.
downloaded a program from nvida to autotune my card . I loaded it an ran the program and adjusted my setting to performance side. Hasnt crashed in the past 2 hours . *knocks on wood* doing ok )
