Does it take a 'Vet' to rezz pets?

I am playing around with a general purpose healer and I thought I would add GM Vet to the profile. BUT - I see in the FAQ that to resurrect pets you have to have Animal Lore.
IS there another way to rezz (or heal) pets? Chivalry maybe?

You can heal pets with healing spells and chiv but to rez them you need to have vet/lore.
