I have raise many stealth on human/elf to gm. Now I'm trying to do it on a Gargoyle and I'm stuck at 75. I have no soulstone to transfer skill. I have try stone Armour and plate but after 8hrs I don't gain anymore. Do you have any suggestion for me.
Are you wearing the proper armor? According to the Hiding and Stealth FAQ here, it suggests: 65-95 GM Full Studded Leather Suit 95-GM GM Full Studded Leather Suit and GM Close HelmI can't remember what there is for Gargoyle's to wear regarding Studded Leather (I know they can't use the Close Helm), but the point is you want to get your armor at the point where you "fail" fairly regularly at Stealthing... Just sayin.....
ThX As a Gargoyle you can't wear studded, so the guide isn't of any help. Stone is as close of studded you can get. I Finally get the gain. I use my GGS and I wear 2 pieces of platemail for 75-82, and 3 pieces form 82 - ...
Well, at least you know now WHY you weren't gaining - and maybe you can add your Gargoyle info to the FAQ...
Here how I done it. Cloth armor for 50 -62 Leather armor 62-75 ( I did try stone armor, but sure when I did) Platemail armor 72-82 ( arm and Kilt) 82-Gm ( arm,kilt and Legging) Chest is to heavy If you wear to much armor, you will get the message " You could not hope to move quietly wearing this much armor. Hope that help ppl.
