Let me begin by extending a warm welcome to all of you. Today we gathered here to mark the second Anniversary of Goodman’s passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Goodman for quite a while. We used to mark runes together and chat about future projects for our libraries. He had so many plans and was looking forward to the Mondain’s legacy expansion that he never got to see. But even after he left us he is still guiding me through UO, through him I met Lady Andrasta. She has been inspiring to do so many new things, thank you Andra. Frank was the kind of man you could depend on, he would drop what he was doing to help you. We once went to Bucc’s Den in Felucca to mark some Runes together and sure enough there was a Red there. He seen Goodman and never attacked him…. But he sure enough pked me. That’s how much people respected him. I found this wonderful poem that I would like to share with you. Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without affect, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was. There is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. I still miss him…. Thank you Thank you Lady Aalia... It has been my honor this past year to work with you. You are a True Librarian. Winterbreeze Library is an inspiration to me. Together it is our goal to provide the best libraries for the people of Atlantic.. I would like to thank everyone that has helped me keep Goodman's a current viable library and a special memorial to Lord Goodman. A special thank you to Doc of Jhelom and Lady Rachel of Rachel's Runes both who have helped me today and year round. To Lord Hendrick who spent many hours reworking Goodman's website at www.uogoodman.com I truly appreciate the wonderful platform you have given me upon which I hope to build on this year. Many wonderful people have donated time, gold, books & kind words this year, all of which help me tremendously to keep the library running. Your kindness has allow me to maintain the library and to contribute to causes that keep the history of Atlantic visible. I pledge to continue this work and dedicate it to you who have helped me. I would also like to thank whomever is responsible for the Goodman & Grog NPC's that can be found in our lands. I thought it was a wonderful tribute for both Goodman & Grog. I believe they would both be very touched by it. It is hard to believe that he has been gone two years now. We all miss him still very much. With your help and support he will always be remembered and remain with us until the world ends and beyond. Thank you very much for honoring his memory today. Every time you use the library you are fulfilling his last wish. A Man is Immortal as long as he is Remembered. This was the Memorial held on Atlantic Shard, Magincia Beach on August 29th, 2007. Thank you all for attending. Andrasta Goodman's Rune Library
