Well, I tried it with a macer in wraith form, and got annihilated. In my defense though, it was my first week back after a fairly long break, and I had barely played in wraith in the weeks prior to that anyway. I don't think swampy would help too much, because you're going to be taking mostly magic damage, right?
So, what are the tactics? Sampire? I know of tamers who have solo'd it, but I just don't have the tactics or skill.

well not sure outside of making sure i'm at a pilot with a rocking wi-fi connects thats the start what fluffy little love bucket did those tammers use GD or a puppy
and one addtion mod plus are runic level right? wow you could get a blade with 8 mods lets see you make that with imbue
Of course with a Leafblade you need to have 90 Stam to swing at max. When I've seen it done, it was a wraith form macer using Wind's Edge. Max swing speed with 0 stam.
By the way, is the ABC archer the best template to solo Shimmering Effusion or is there another type of template that is most fit to solo this particular Peerless ?? Which one ?
Wraith form macer with bushido is capable of doing it, or was. I tried once and got ****ing destroyed.
What Damage does it inflict? Cold? Stratics doesn't say. I know Dreadhorn is Physical/Poison. As for a macing weapon for wraith form I would think the ones below should have a chance. Fans: Stam Leech 50 Life Leech 46 Hit Lower Defense 50 Hit Lower Attack 50 DI 50 Then you'll need a 1-hander to swap to quaff: Mace 30 SSI Max LL DI 50 Stam Leech 50 HLA 50 As a side note - I been working on the Assassin Suit setup that Connor spoke of on another thread....and let me just say it REALLY rocks! And I don't even have mace and sheilds yet - I'm still using the samuri helm till I get enough axes turned in. Q

My initial question was This, in a thread titled "How hard is the shimmering effusion to solo". Therefore, well on-topic. Yet, after many days since the question was asked (Which one ?) no answer has been offered. And you suggest looking back at my question ? I did, I asked what OTHER template might be better than an ABC Archer at soloing the Shimmering Effusion and so far received no answer.
There was an old video with a wraith with bushido soloing shimmering using the takuno major artie winds edge. Search for these terms to watch it "youtube shimmering winds edge"
The form used was wraith so it does not matter if "Vamp" form was nerfed later Hit leech nerf also does not matter since wraith form's leech is based on curse weapon for life leech at 50% of damage at 100% of leech chance Wraith form native mana leech of 20% at 120 SS. Evasion nerf also doesn't matter in this case because if you really watched the video, no evasion was used what so ever. bottom line, the template/tactics used in that video is the same now as when the video was made. Watch the Video carefully.... stam leech is not present in this template. From what I can see, the template is running really low dex and really high str and int.
i was merely grouping those together, obviously he's in wraith form the tactics may be the same, but the tessens are weaker nowadays. tessens use to do noticably more damage.
What in the world are you talking about tessens' weapon damage has always been 10-12 base damage it has not ever changed. Since your previous comment is made towards the video, then what are you grouping together? Nothing relevant to video what so ever?
