Bug Fixes Castle Ladders should now be functioning properly I must have missed the part about them being broke before this publish. And the part about castles floating and requiring a captain. Can no longer place a castle ladder. You get the following message. "You can only place this in a ship if you have the captain's permission." I am not on a ship i am in my keep lol
Hehe, these kinds of things are the things that make UO UO. ^ ^ Hopefully there is a fix for this soon though. Meow.
I read something about this the other day. The only thing I can think of is make sure it is in your top pack. I had a bag of gozas I was carrying around in my castle, and I got some weird message when trying to place. It was not a boat message, can't explain that. Took it out of the bag and put it in the top level of my pack and it acted as it was supposed to.
Ladder is in the top of my pack, even tried in my castle on a different account same message. UOs moto should be, if its not broke we must break it lol Love the game and this is more amusing than annoying but really, how can a fix go so wrong. Wonder how long before i can see the roof of my keep again
It is not fixed.. I still cannot place castle ladders.. Keeps saying the castle is a ship :-/ And all my gardens are at max seeds on the roof..not a big deal unless it never gets fixed and I can never access them again
Even though the patch says they should be working properly I am still getting the same message about it "requiring the Captains permission to place it on a ship" I am on Origin BG
I confirmed it also on Napa today...were working fine this weekend, but after patch I need to find the captain so I can place a castle ladder in my house. This is a custom home if it helps any. The regular ladder will place with no problem.
