maybe im doing something wrong, but i have my ax and it is equipped.

when i double click the axe, it gives me a targeting cursor, so i click on a tree and it always tells me i cannot use an axe on that.

please help me, for now im just gonna go wrestle for the str gains. but i wouldnt mind figuring out why i could not cut the trees down.

    1) LJ'ing works better with circle of transparency turned off.
    2) Target the base of the tree, not the leaves.

Unless its changed I always found clicking the leaves worked better for me.

Also I would use a hatchet its always guaranteed to work where some Axes may not

    Are you mounted?

    Try different trees.
If you use the enhanced client, make a macro with target-by-resource option. While it doenst fully work for mining (especially when you are using prospector tools), it works wonders for lj.

If your jacking in the jungles alot of the "cypress trees" are non wood trees and wont respond to a jacking attempt. I jack in fel and if you take the time certain graphics will be easy to identify as no wood by the trunks.
