Hi everyone, I just got done reading most of the Wheel of Time series and absolutely love the char mat cauthon and i want to make him in game. The build i'm thinking of is 120 fence, tactics, anat, healing, parry, and does throwing work for a human or no? not really planing on killing anything super hard just wanting to have fun. is it a possible build and what does everyone think? if not might build a lan type toon instead of throwing put in bushido.

    no

with Bushido and parry at 120 you will have 40% block chance with a 1 handed wep (no shield) thing to remember is that with healing skill as your only way of healing you are going to be needing dex at 140 min to get 4 sec bandie heals... also you will want to run with potions also. What it would be handy to know is the sort of hunting you want to do... i.e solo or group, type of monsters and stuff.... I personally like sampire chars for melee, but I do have a disco archer too but in terms of kickassability my sampire is who I pull out 99% of the time.

I do like to do some things solo but generally I wil always try and run in a group... just for the simple reason is I have more fun while I am with others! I think it was Nu'sair or Driven insane on the boards that said.. " find some friends, it adds one of the M's in MMORPG"

In a group your template above with either bush or chiv would be very handy indeed.

there are numerous sampire posts so if you are unsure of the build check em out... everyone has theif own spin on the template :)

You'll want to choose macing to carry a quarterstaff I'm afraid
  6. Wouldn't it be swords for the bladed staff?

Has something been edited or deleted?? I can't find any other reference to bladed staffs or quater staff....

In the books his weapon of choice starts out as a quarterstaff. Specialshoes might be right here though - about midway through he acquires a weapon called an ashandarei. It's a polearm with a short blade at one end. I'm not sure if they existed outside the fiction.

Swordsmanship with bladed staff would be the closest, you could also carry a UBWS quarter staff.

honestly for hunting i just like to have fun i stick to mainly 1st lvl of shame. would like to get into a guild on atl for rp but everyone seems to be in factions for them and i really dislike factions.

Id have to say go with Swords for the Bladed staff, and do not forget the cup of Dice...
