Tag Users!

You can now alert users to your posts by tagging them. By adding "@" and a person's username, e.g., @Syrus, the tagged user will receive an alert about your post.

Can I tag myself to see how it works?

I didn't get an alert for me, but then I got 2 for your 1

Yeah, I changed the plugin to leave the @ sign (rather than remove it), then edited my post. That prolly explains the double alert.
