Not really surprising though, since some folks think of Luna as godlands or something and pay 4.5 k for an engraving tool on vendors in Luna, rather than go even to Minoc to get em for 350gp sooo there will be those that honestly feel a puny plot on Luna even is worth hundreds and be some just as willing to pay that too...........but then.............no accounting for some folks tastes ! HAHA ME you cant GIVE ME LUNA houses...ewwwwwwwwwwwww nay not for me !! Be like suburbia all on top each other like zoo animals in their cubicles. bleh. I doubt it sells for that price. Chessy has a luna house up for sale the guy wants less than that about 1/3rd less or will take a considerable amount of in game currency. It's been for sale for about 3 months now. Chessy is much more populated than Oceania so I doubt the perk of "Location" will draw players to buy it.
Luna house prices differ quite a bit in terms of size and location inside of luna. This house is arguably the best spot in Luna. On Atlantic, it would definitely go for more than 2k usd. No clue about Oceania.
Now that is just insane. I remember back in '99-2000 a castle/keep selling for that much. But that was when real estate was rare. Now ... all you gotta do is look and you can place a house. Thanks to the "One house per account" rule. Though I do miss the One house per account, per shard. Sure bets the old one houser per char.

2 Comments: 1- I have an Iron ingot for $2,000 on Napa. Does that mean the price of ingots is going through the roof? This property is for sale, but it hasn't sold. Watch how long it remains for sale. 2- Maybe that's in Australian Dollars rather than US dollars. I don't know the current rate, but Australian Dollars are usually worth less than US dollars.
1500 AUD is app. 1356 USD. still IMHO everybody even considering something like that needs urgent attention from his psychiatrist
Agreed whole heartedly...lol Why anyone would buy real estate in this multi problematic game is beyond me. Actually using real cash for a pixel house sounds nuts.
I am the guy selling the Luna plot and trust me it sucks.... I have been trying to sell it for months and I am willing to take just about anything. The funny thing is I have read Stratics for years about the great value of a Luna houses, well i'm here to tell you they are hard as hell to sell! I have never posted before but when I was mentioned I felt compelled to post. The funny thing is I think my plot will hold 3 smaller house and have posted for the scripters to buy it! someone, anyone please buy it!

[/ QUOTE ] After reading this I sat in my chair and lol Luna houses are not hard to sell at all the thing that you are doing wrong is trying to get to much for it. If you walked into luna bank and said 1 million gold how fast would it sell ? 2 mill? 5 mill? 20 mill? 100 mill? would still prob go really fast but thats where it gets questionable everything has a vaule but just becuase you think its worth more than anyone else thinks its worth doesnt make you right
FYI I have turned down offeres over 500 million and I think I can say that one does not aquire a Luna house without knowing the value of things......
I'm sure one of the scripters that have gotten RL riches from the game will buy it eventually...sure they're just trying to see which of 50 accounts to put it on. But on another note, you may try selling it on uotreasures (ooh can I say that??..oh well too late now) They seem to have success in selling high end items and real estate.
I did not know a house could go in that spot. hrmm. The second ugliest Luna house on LS says the same price. Has for maybe a year. lol
