Interesting. I read a bit ago Garriot is working on a new RPG that if he can secure the name of Ultima, would essentially become Ultima Online 2
well i signed up for beta . it speaks of using LADY british because of trademark issues... which means this isnt garriot ? (last i heard he still held the lord british tm) if this IS garriot's work id consider it . if not , well sorry ive had enough of ea games . i guess we'll see. long live the true king .
I will put down some goldage that it falls into the "suck" category. I know I am being quick to judge but the whole thing smacks of standard visionless f2p money factory. I may be cynical, and I'd happily admit my wrongness, but I just don't see an EA/Bioware(which is not what is used to be by a wise margin) Ipad game being anything worth looking at, regardless of the IP they slap on it.
OH I agree it does sound like some cheap money factory lol. Hoping my first impressions of it are proven wrong though I mean there is very little info about it right now. I guess if I get into beta I will find out real soon.
I don't see anything about the game at all. It is EA. BUt the pictures on the splash are not game graphics. So who knows.
