Wait.. A bug that has no effect on gameplay warrants a warning posted to the Herald about a draconian fix, but the years worth of bugs and poor decisions we've been complaining loudly about go ignored? Seriously? ARE YOU FRACKING KIDDING US? Dear Mythic, Please make a list of your priorities. Do they seem reasonable/logical to you? No? Didn't think so. An ethy halberd is nothing to get your knickers in a twist about, nor waste your "precious" time on when you could be fixing actual problems or undoing your terrible. terrible decisions. P.S. You still haven't "fixed" the etheral cloaks from years ago...and those were from an actual exploit. Logic fail.
Is this posted on the log in screen? Not everyone reads Stratics religiously, if at all. I can already see some innocent person buying one of these only to find it deleted at some random time.
it affects the game because you will see the scammer "Merchants" trying to sell them as uber rares, so thankfully they gave a heads up to players that might have gotten tricked into wasting money on a worthless bug item.
No this is a item that was ment to be placed in the game at a later date...we screwed up and are taking it away.
Let me translate.... The latest update to the game introduced a surprise in that halberds can be ethereal. We realize this does not impact combat or gameplay one bit and you players are probably really excited to have this cool looking item but we intend to remove it so you can focus on the artifacts we INTENDED to add that none of you want. Now we must all clock out to get home and play Diablo III. Thank you for your undying support! Keep those renewals comming!

Not that I noticed. Should be imo tho. I just wonder if they will delete them all or if a couple will squeek by and still be around. Kinda like the LichE statue they have tried to "fix" twice now and still have very few of the E ones around.

Hmm, all i was doing was killing the ethereal 'covetous' revenents and they was dropping in there pack once dead, no process/ no exploit used.
