When is Hit Dispel a useful property?

    Subject says it all, when is hit dispel a useful property on weapons?

    Basically, when you figth a Necromancer, or a Magic user that use Necro spells. Only real reason for it is to dispell Reavant.

    Yea I love it on a weapon in DOOM I can hit one 1-2 times and it usually dispels

    Doesnt hit dispel dispel any buffs an opponent casts on himself when you hit him? I would think that was how it worked.
