LOTRO Echoes of the Dead New Armor Stats

With the new patch to Bullroarer, I’ve updated my spreadsheets for the new sets available.  I’m not confident these will be the final stats, but something to take a look at for those of you who are interested.

I’m still working on a way to compare the individual pieces and do better set comparisons (i.e. is it better to wear 2 Annuminas, 2 Helegrod, and 2 Tier 2 raid set pieces) so for now I’m just going to post the spreadsheet as is and tweak later.  Once I have it all pulled together, I will put it on the proper page and include all the new screenshots once they’re official too.

As with the other sets, I just have the Captain, Champion, Minstrel, and Warden but have included the 2 new raid sets and the new PvP set.

It is hard to see everything in the small frame, so this link to the google doc might work better.

Colour me underwhelmed – at least for my Minstrel. I don’t see much need to grind out the gear past what I have now – 4 Moria, DN helm, Daevrunn’s Shoulders….

For me it depends on the drop rates and how all that works. The Tier 2 sets are pretty nice, piece wise the may vary but overall I think they’re better then most. And for Minstrels, that group wide call to greatness sounds all sorts of fun!

Yeah – I just saw the Call to Greatness buff…Maybe the T1 set for me (not a ton of raiding time available) and then I can play with my Jewellery a bit – Losing 300 power though hurts a bit.

ah, finally a set to replace my Spear-Hurler set… the T2 raid set looks nice, only really missing +inc healing, but has a nice power boost. and a DPS boost, so i’ll no longer need to swap sets for solo vs raiding.

however… no-one will EVER step foot in BG again. no buffs to the utterly rubbish BG set; it’s only advantage – lots of radiance – removed without replacement. add it to HoM and WW as instances that no-one ever runs; but at least ppl kept running HoM and WW until the lvl cap increased. BG is instantly, permanently, obsolete. which will make my wife happy, because she *hates* running BG :) .
