Skyshards can be found all over ESO’s world! They can be found in OPEN WORLD Only and not dungeons. This is try to get players to run around and explore to find them and have a better experiance. With that said we do know Skyshards are player instanced which means if ”Bob” Takes it, ”Larry” Can still take it and claim it. Here is a little video that you guys might enjoy and help you understand them a bit better! Make sure to follow and Tweet us here at stratics with questions!

TESO Fans Create Art, Fiction, Music

The Elder Scrolls Online’s (TESO) weekly community blog, The Tamriel Chronicle, publishes fan-created art, fiction, podcasts, and music on a weekly basis.  Issue #29, published Tuesday, features a wallpaper by Marc Konings, fan fiction by Harlwystyr, and music by Proxenos Papias.

Why do players do this? “They don’t do it for money,”  said best-selling fantasy author Lev Grossman (The Magicians). “That’s not what it’s about. They’re fans, but they’re not silent, couchbound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language.”

The Community Ban List, in conjunction with Combat Arms Stratics, Combat Arms Forum, CLEAN, Legit Gaming Club, and LP Gamers, is scheduled to host a massiveCombat Arms event later this month. The “We’ve Got Your Six” will feature six separate events, over 1 million NX in prizes, and as many as 272 different chances to win.

The event is scheduled to take place on 19, 20, 21, and 27 October 2012. For complete details about the requirements, rules, event types, and more, see the official announcement on CBL Forums here.

CA Community Meets New Community Manager

The Combat Arms (CA) community was introduced to its new Community Manager (CM) today.  In response to a thread entitled “When are we getting a new CM?,” Khali (real name Nikki) surprised the community by responding, “You all might be getting one sooner than you think.”  Shortly thereafter, Khali created a thread introducing herself as CA’s new CM.  Her introduction may be viewed here.

CA players in North America have been without a full-time CM since Kalika’s departure in March.  Hime, the CM for Nexon’s MapleStory, has been filling this role during the interim.  The CM position is widely recognized as one of the most challenging jobs in the gaming industry, but it can also be among the most rewarding.  Combat Arms Stratics wishes Khali the very best as she tackles her new responsibilities.

CA Community Saddened After Community Manager Announces Departure

Kalika, departing Community Manager

Kalika, the much beloved Combat Arms (CA) Community Manager (CM), announced on Tuesday that she would be resigning her position with Nexon America.  Her final day as the CA CM will be Friday, 13 April 2012.  The reason for her departure is unknown.

In response to her message, the CA community expressed deep remorse.  Players frequently connect to CMs and other community staff, but the bond between players and Kalika seemed special.

Player Lavallois stated, “You have done more to restore player faith in Nexon than anyone else I can think of. Time after time you have conveyed issues that players found to be most important to either the team or the producers.”

TopsyKretts3 said, “You really are one of the best, if not the best, parts of Combat Arms and the Forums. I’ll be sad to see you leave.”

CrystalHaze, founder of CA fansite The Weekly Haze, responded, “It saddens me greatly to see you go and I know I speak for all of TWH when I say that you have been a god-send to us. You have shown the entire CA community true dedication and respect. Let’s all hope the next CM shows the same dedication we have come to admire from you.”

Kalika’s complete announcement and player reactions may be viewed here.

The Combat Arms Stratics staff collectively and forcefully affirms every good remark and more.  Kalika will always hold a special place in our hearts.  We wish her success and happiness in her future endeavors.  Thank you, Kalika. <3
