Was playing like normal today, got something bugged about picking stuff and logged off to reset my char. Tryed to log back in and got the "no pay, no play" screen. At that point my insides went cold... Everyone elses problems was suddenly on my front door step. Im not the type of person that likes to play the internet chase down game. Im the kind of guy that figures if you can take my CC info over the phone, then you can damn well turn my account BACK ON over the phone. So I call the phone number the game gives you when you ask for one in the Mythic search engine... A number I've never heard of before. 2 button choices later and 20 secs hold time and I'm talking to a guy that walks me thru everything hes doing on his end and he PROMISES me a call back at my phone # if I lose conn while transfered to tier lvl 2. I lose conn of course and a hour later no call. I call back and get given to a guy named Galen, and this is where Mythic won me over. This dude stayed with me for a total of 3 hours and 3 call backs. My main account is on and my other 3 are turned off but linked to my main account. This guy was a absolute GEM. Granted I may have been triple billed, and someones account that I have no idea who it is, is also linked to mine, but dammit my mains on and my stuffs safe. Heres some things that screwed me up that I want to pass on: 1st... 3 of the accounts were given to me and I had no idea what the E-Mail accounts names were. What saved me here was being assertive that "I" was the owner because "I" had the CC info on hand and he who pays for the account IS THE LEGAL OWNER of said account. 2nd... The AGE of the owner seemed to be absolutely important. No idea why but I was asked for my roomates date of birth about 15 times. 3rd... That damn underscore (_)uo thing is a pain in the ass. Even Galen the 2nd time around didn't know about it. On that part we helped each other out and were able to get everything completed. 4th... Linking accounts is the easiest part. All you have to do is enter the account name (dont forget the damn _uo) and the PW. Poof Done. With that I have NO IDEA WHY everyone is having so many issues. Granted I got someone that actually cared the 2nd time but PLEASE, it wasn't really that hard. I'm going to tell everyone to stop playing the "Hopeful" typing game and pick up the phone and CALL them. Choice one for Origins and choice 2 for other games. Both times it was a 30 secs or less wait and BOTH rep's were pleasant HELPFUL voices. Anyone that has issues and can't log in won't be heard by me.
