100 % sure some GM dont read help request´s .

    So iam running a shop and i see one of my vendors looking damaged so i page a GM with this message : Hello . I run a shop and one of my Vendors . Its called Petir Seems to loose Health . Can you check so everything is alright with it ?

    And after 45 min i get this reply : Unfortunately, lost or stolen items cannot be replaced by GMs nor the QA team.

    Thats cos the CSR department is crap and should ALL be fired...

    And yes I am being mean and no I dont care... They are useless...

    #1 They have no idea what a vendor is.
    #2 Since your vendor lost its health they decided to put the word 'lost' in their sweet little search tool.
    #3 The result you got, 'lost or stolen items cannot.......'

    Next time try, my vendor fell out of my treehouse and is dying. He appears to be stuck in some kind of mud that is zapping his life.

    Hel-lo I been saying the same thing for the last YEAR, but no one listens to me cause Jirel's coocoo, nutball..in short i'm driving the crazy train!

    Seriously I have page and got some of the damnest anwsers..

    1) paged because I was being harassed..anwser: this not a GM issue. (Um okay WTF are you paid for?)

    2) I died on the stairs in a dungeon couldn't reach my body Anwser: GMs can not replace lost or stolen items. (Whatever. Apparently literacy isn't required to be a GM)

    3) paged because stupid hanging skeleton vet reward got stuck and I couldn't redeed it after devs advised us to redeed deedable vet rewards.
    Anwsers: 1 not able to help with that, 2 visit the UO knowledgebase, 1 lost or stolen items message and finally on 5th try a GM that could get the thing off the wall! I threw in in a chest I don't plan to hang it back up. (Seriously where do they get these guys...Wal-mart?)

    I wish they'd just scrap in game Customer (NO) Service and spend the money on UO development!

    Agreed 100%. I have had some of the off the wall responses from GM's as well and it is no way they could of read my pages with the replies i have received.

    every problem i had you had :(

    plus one more..

    i bought a quiver for like 300k that held more then 50 stones.. i paged to get it fixed and got banned..

    here's the best part, after waiting out my ban, my quiver is still bugged.. sigh..

    Every time I have ever paged a GM about any issue - items under stairs, vendors loosing health, stuck IDOC leftovers preventing house placement, harassment, unattended macroing - this is the only answer I have ever received, except on one occasion when an item fell into an unreachable area at the Trinsic bank.

    I think you are right: I think they rarely fully read pages.

    Filling out a GM review will also get you the same response over and over. Seems to me they would at least mix up the canned replies some instead of sending same ol same ol. Then again GM's we have don't care and most likely have never even played UO.

    I just tried something new. For the one instance in the past year that a GM actually helped me with my problem, I just submitted positive feedback regarding this GM.

    I kinda doubt that GM feedback is often positive. Perhaps the occasional note of encouragement will wake up in-game customer support.

    Well that is the problem I can not get a GM to do anything so, unless I lie about a positive feedback situation is only way I could send one in.

    Ive met some very nice, kind and helpful people at Wal Mart. There are even some that work there and play this game and you just insulted them.

    Actually.. heres a thought Cal/EA...

    FIRE the CSR teams... They dont do 'Customer Service' anyway... I'ld rather have no CS than bad CS.

    REHIRE Chrissay and Draconi.. pay them more wages from the money saved by the crap CSR guys.

    *sighs* Shame it'll never happen... They aint got the balls to do it.

    ACK! I didn't mean to insult anyone!!! I was referring to the wal-mart employees at the walmart in my town. Some of them are very nice and helpful but most are what I call Wal-bots. You ask them for something "I dunno", ask them why they no longer carry a particular food item or how one might get it back..."uh we only get what the truck brings us."

    I in NO way meant to insult anyone in UO or on this forum!

    Maybe I should have said they're like Dell Tech(NO) Support..but I think Dell might actually be worse. :eek:

    "Letter from Eliza" stuck in pack, cannot drop or trade, please come to delete from pack, thank you!

    10 minutes later invited to chat with a GM (use "[" to chat) and asked if there was anything else I needed help with...

    I just don't see the problem, anytime I page a GM they are polite and helpful.

    I've been screaming about GMs for years.

    Mistletoe stuck - 3 years ago - got a response for my multiple pages every 4 hours or so.. 'Cannot replace lost items' 'See knowledge database' etc etc
    So i paged that i was on fire and my house ran away. I got a gm chat. got yelled at, but they fixed the mistletoe.


    Items stuck under house - never did get a GM to respond to this.. ever.

    The first few times, I just went into customize mode and the item spit itself out.
    Found out recently a new way to remove those items esp if you have vendors and can't go into customize - Use a horde minion.


    Harassment - "Not a GM problem" or "Check knowledge database"

    Someone is macroing unattending.. IN MY HOUSE "Not a gm problem"

    I officially gave up, I figure I'll be less aggravated and spend less time if I just deal with it myself or deal with the fact that I lost the item. At least I wont spend 6 hours on pages.

    Just remembered to add this for anyone with future issues with items stuck in their pack.
    Don't bother paging, they don't/won't help you most of the time.
    1]Fill your backpack with 125 items
    2]Hold a weapon that isn't spell channeling and try to cast a spell [Doesnt matter if you have the skill or not]
    3]As your casting drag the item in your pack, It should drop when the weapon is removed from your hands.

    I just luv luv luv :heart: when we see some smart whit used correctly and not in a severly negative way!! Thank you for the laugh. :party: After reading all of the input, I have found many more funny people. I do know how aggravating calling a GM can be. Perhaps they are unable to read our writen complaints as much as I am unable to understand their severly thick accent when I call them up with issues. Lets hope this is not the problem and that it is just that we have a different expectation to the statement "In return, we remain committed to providing you with the best possible gaming experiences and customer support both now and in the future." I to have decided that calling a GM is a waist of my time and raises my blood pressure. I have decided that I shall treat any issues I have from now on like I did when I would catch someone cheating in any game we were playing. 1. Ignore it 2. Fix it on my own (words or fists whatever gets it solved) 3. Walk away from the game for 2 months and not pay for my accts without losing anything in game or my sanity, but they lose out on my cash (boy I'm teaching EA aren't I lol).

    I have. Back when you could stable necro wisp familiars, I put out multiple pages on the exploit with more than satisfactory results. Also script miners near my old house. Again, exemplary results. And, as I said, just last night I had a response within 20 minutes (was #12 in queue)

    Catch more flies with honey than vinegar, as the old saying goes. I've seen/read some of the pages that get put out and really, "would you kiss your momma with that mouth?"

    WOW you certainly don't play on ATL!!!! I wish our GM's were that good.

    I paged repeatedly for almost 8 months about a character of mine that could not use the macro bandage self. 8 MONTHS!!! The only reponse I ever received was a canned one that said, "We will investigate further. Unfortunately because of privacy issues you will not be notified of the outcome of our investigation."

    PRIVACY ISSUES??? SERIOUSLY??? It's MY character!!!!

    Finally in a fit of rage, I soulstoned every doggone thing I liked about the character, threw everything in his bankbox back in my house, deleted him, created a new one and VOILA!!! Problem fixed.

    I so agree with the above poster who said they should have fired these people and kept Chrissay and Draconi. I'm furious that EA would do destructive things to a profitable game!!! =/
