Passive detecting hidden is a problem to stealthers because most people don't have detect, so constantly getting revealed by people with no detect who aren't even nessesarily trying to detect you is completely stupid.

However, if someone DOES have a sufficient detect skill and IS TRYING to detect you, he should probably be able to.

Nerf(REMOVE) passive detect, UN-NERF active detect. Apparently they've added a pointless delay to active detect.

Is there any common sense out there at all?

It is a bit on the ridiculus side. I think that passive reveal should exist but the levels it reveals is completely out of proportion to what it should be.

Hiding, Stealthing, Tracking and Detect Hidden is such a mess. It should just be reverted back to prior to Samurai Empire but passive detection changed so it only has like a 1% chance of working (3% for elves).

Pointy Ears > 200+ points of skill. Thats why I never bothered to make a stealther after elves were introduced.
