We are a final fantasy XIV linkshell. Basically, for those of you who want to play FFXIV

Join our guild/linkshell "Rapture" we are a fast-growing primarily North American accepting other english speakers guild. We are a guild has both properties of a family and hardcore.

Our linkshell is called “Rapture” we are going to be one of the first to create an online guild community for others to know for a lifetime.

As the title states, come on over to a newfounded LS/Guild or whatever it will be called when FFXIV goes live. We are growing, the website is looking nice, and basically it will be great to have a “family” to enter the game at launch with.

So come on over to http://www.rapture.gamercrisis.com/ and to join just head to the Forum link and register. Drop a line and say hello and let’s prepare for FFXIV!

We are growing at an exponential rate, we already have 154 registered users, but beyond that we are establishing incredible structured leadership, we are having elections for our members, we are a democracy, we are a step ahead of other linkshells that have started and we plan to be the best. We were the first Final Fantasy XIV linkshell, and now we will be the linkshell that takes down the rest.

It doesn't sound like there are other linkshells, so who are you taking down exactly? lol

It is a bit amusing to have a community established for a game that has not even hit live yet.

There are a few out there, but they are slowing growing day by day.

I've been in many communities for games that haven't been released yet. It is a good way to get to know who you are playing with when the game is actually released. You will feel more comfortable and there will be less drama, people will get along much better. Overall, it is a pretty good idea.

You have a point, but it depends on the game. If it is a PvM based game, yes it could be a good idea AND perhaps, other people will get along better. If it is a PvP based game or one that has PvP encounters in it, you can pretty much pitch that idea.

Bigger isn't always necessarily better. I have seen small guilds, linkshells, etc. accomplish things that organizations much larger couldn't get done in half the time.
