Any idea's on what the future of blackrock will bring? Is it not still an evil substance, still holding the ability to bring on the UOapocalypse?

EA is waiting for enough of it to be mined up and stock piled so that when they decide to close down UO, then can just broadcast the armageddon spell and detonate the entire game at once.

That's a depressing thought. Although I suppose it would fit the mythology. :(

Stock piled. I am finding stock piles of the stuff lying around the cavern of the discarded. Apparently people have their piles. I wouldn't mine the ability to put a city of choice under siege if you had enough blackrock....keke^^. Or all the city's for that matter ^^, except the fel ones of course.

Hopefully they will find a use for it with the re-building of Magencia.
A site clearance tool, or foundation maker? :)

  7. At least make them stackable please!! Even though there are several different shapes, having 4-5 different piles are better then taking up tons of lock-downs.

Great idea... use magical rocks that destroyed Haven as the foundation of a city being rebuilt ontop of a city that was already destroyed...

    I like it.

Make it craft-able into crystallized blackrock.

There will be a use eventually , they will integrate it into crafting/imbuing and or event tool. Which is my good guess.

Hell, I wouldn't mind if the cancelled the ability to mine it completely and made it a spring cleaning turn in. Would be worth it for the amount of lockdowns it takes.

I love the black rock...some of them sit on tiles a little differently than other things I use for eyeballs, etc in deco projects. And thank god it doesn't use lockdowns.

Just need something like the obsidian statue. Some vendor bought base with huge gold sink factor like the Tax Kit price. Take 100 BR to fill the base. To active something as destructive as BR a replica is sacrifed as the last step. Now the base blackens and works the same as the Jade/Marble/Bronze statue kit.

Blackrock used to be something special. Now look at it. People are throwing it away, some want to eat it like candy.

I pretty much agree here. I came along after the Blackrock infection era (besides the Moonglow thing) and would love to see it working again. After all, its not like the blackrock is any different now than it was before, its still blackrock so it should still work the same...
