Add some better INSTRUCTIONS as to how to get into ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT.

    Ok this is REALLY ridiculous, can we please get some *BETTER* instructions as to how to login to our account management. I am confused where it says "Already have an EA account" and below " and "Have a Mythic Master Account". I can't even use my UO username and password like before to login to my account management. So I am sitting on the phone here with this guy for 25 minutes now and STILL nothing. He has YET to ask for my UO Account name. I had to GIVE it to him so he could further look into whatever he's NOT looking into :-/. Please make this page "DUMMY PROOF". This "i'ma place you on a brief hold" crap every 10 seconds is RIDICULOUS. Change this account crap back to the way it was or get this **** fixed because this could really steer a player into not even wanting to go through all of this crap just to play the game again.

    When I went to create a mythic master ID account it says it's already in use. So the guy suggests I make a new one and I said "Isn't the one that's created already tied onto my UO Account". I don't know what the mythic master ID is but the last time I had billing issues a customer service rep or billing rep guy said that the account had a master ID but I didn't remember it. That was before they did this account migration crap. I've never had to login using a "master account" before. Now I don't know when im going to be able to play UO again, this guy i'm talking to has sent me THREE password reset emails for nothing. HE doesn't know what hte heck hes doing. Oh and now i've been on the phone with him for 33 minutes. He just keeps asking me the same questions and were not getting ANYWHERE.

    Update: 35 Minutes now and still on the phone with this guy, recreating an EA ID, then it was the master. So the guy puts in my Master ID and it says its not available so he had to make a new one with a 1 afterwards, Now he says the email address he entered is already in use.. The god damn guy doesn't know wha the sdoing! He even said on the phone "I'm not understanding......." ****ing idiot! Now i'm back on a brief hold. Good lord get me somebody that knows what there doing please. What's happened so far is I have had 3 seperate emails for acct password help to reset password, had to create a master ID, an EA ID. Now he says I can login so when I try to it says invalid account name or password.


    Update: now he's escilating the call to another agent. I had to change my UO username to the same thing again and it wants me to put in a code before I get to the billing screen and he said "You don't have a code sitting inront of you on a box or anything?" and I said "No it's not like half life or anything when you download the game and have a code on the back of the box, you download ultima online and just sign in with your username and password" What the hell is this all about!


    Update: now it has been 45 minutes on the phone with this same moron.

    Your 'master mythic account' is your uo account, with _uo on the end, usual password you log in to game with.

    Good job Petra, this freaking idiot just got back and said "it wlil take about 2 minutes to get to the other agent do you want to hold?" and I said "No, a moderator on stratics forums helped me out, she suggested what to do and it seems to have worked"

    God dang FIX THIS **** MYTHIC OR CAL or whoever is even in charge anymore! This is UNACCEPTABLE. You will lose inpatient clients with the way this has been set up unless you make it easier to fix. There are lots of people out there that don't have the patience to sit on the phone with a freaking moron for an hour to get there login information fixed. Fix this.


    When I was on the phone with that guy he asked for my account password and I said "Can I even give that to you over the phone?" and he said "Well sir if you wan tme to help you setting this up then you need to give me the information I request" and I said "But what im saying is are you guys even supposed to request for our passwords? Dont you already know it?" so long story short I gave him my password and shortly after Petra did a better ****ing job then this guy I was on the phone with. Thanks Petra.


    UPDATE: Ok I added gave time but now I don't know where to go to remove my billing information, I don't want these guys billing me two weeks into the month for the next billing cycle. I want to remove my billing information and the only options i see are "Change Password" "activate key" "update renewal" and "cancel subscription"... y'all seriously need to get this crap idiot proof and make it easier to locate things.

    With all due respect, if you need to rely on resources from some random poster on a 3rd party website to explain the accounting system, I think its fair to say EA could have done a much better job both in terms of implementation and the provision of information on how to use it. I mean, the guy is on the phone to EA and they can't even provide this info...

    Telling people that they should have read threads here isn't a proper long term solution.

    HEY! I'm not just some random poster! :eyes:

    Although I do not disagree with you, at least the community has come together to help everyone in this time of great trial. It has been a very nice thing to see, and I hope that once this whole mess is over the community continues to be as nice and helpful as it has been these past few weeks :)

    Yeah, especially the "_uo" thing. It's been posted/come up dozens of times in now dozens of threads. Very easy to find if you actually read a little.

    It is however EXTREMELY STUPID that nowhere that I can find on the UOHerald or the accounts management page does it tell you about the "_uo" trick.

    This little snipet alone probably would/could've prevented a lot of the confusion for many people.

    That's one of the more confusing things. There should be a big link to a tutorial right on the accounts management page. Instead the only "official" tutorial is on the Dark Age of Camelot wikia website, and given that there are no links to it from the three official game sites, I doubt many people are easily finding it.

    It really makes you wonder what is going on with the people doing the migration, the people doing customer support, and the people who maintain the websites and their designs.

    It's like they are all totally isolated from each other.

    Geographically they are isolated from one another, but you're right, it seems like they are isolated from one another online as well.

    I can think of 3-4 people, at least, and probably more if I looked at who posts what on which websites, who has the clearance to post on all three official sites for UO, Camelot, and Warhammer.

    Some of those people were in Germany for Gamescom last week, some are headed to Seattle this weekend for PAX, but they were all posting or talking to the media quite a bit last week and had internet access the whole time.

    But something must have stopped them from posting anything other than announcements that it's being worked on......

    And I understand that Mythic has a reputation for not saying much - I was a Camelot player years back and remember it quite well, but this is ridiculous - their silence is costing them a lot of money in support when some questions could be easily answered right htere on the accounts front page.
