I'm not asking about altering items BACK to human, after they've been altered to gargoyle. Would it be possible to setup some altering of gargoyle weapons to human equivalents? I know theres like 8 weapons that can be altered into a disco mace, but could a disc mace be altered back to say, a Mace?

Obviously you wouldn't want this taking place with armor because of the resists, but just a thought. It would be nice to see.

And i really don't see the problem with conversions of one thing back to another of the exact same type, such as wearable artifacts (half aprons, sashes, glasses)

I just wish you could alter Arcane Clothing to Gargoyle. Currently, the only Arcane Clothing a Gargoyle can wear is an un-altered Arcane Robe. I'd love for Arcane Thigh Boots to be able to be altered to Arcane Gargish Talons, wouldn't have to wear that ugly ass Arcane Robe that hides my glorious armor set on my Gargoyle Thrower then.

Already asked about this once or twice was told you don't need it. You have 100%LRC available.

I think you should be able to alter anything, altered or not, to anything as long as it stays in the same slot.
Gargs can only wear Garg items and Human necklace, ring and braclet (mine is, unless they changed that. Haven't logged him in a while).
Humans can only wear Human items.
Elves can wear Elvish items and Human items. Why not make them the same as Humans and Gargs.

When you alter something to Garg resists are rerolled and the same could be done when you alter to Human or Elf.

Humans can only wear Human items, Gargs can only wear Garg items and Elves can only wear Elf items. This includes all wearable items, jewles, weapons and shields.

This will require 6 alter type scrolls for Blacksmith, Tailor, Carp and Tink. 24 total. Sorry if I missed a crafter.

All equipable items should be alterable and to use it it must be for that race.

Not on a Gargoyle Thrower or Warrior, suit simply doesn't have the room for it. My Gargoyle Thrower uses an Arcane Robe so he can cast Enchant Weapon/Healing Stone without having to carry around a buttload of regs, since Arcane Gems are alot lighter to carry around. With 0.0 Real Mysticism (30.0 from racial) and GM Focus, i can put 41% Hit Lightning on his weps for 2-3 mins with Enchant Weapon, why i don't bother imbuing Hit Magic Arrow/Harm/Fireball/Lightning on his weps. I end up with a Soul Glaive that has Dam Inc/SSI/HLD/Hit Stam Leech/Hit Mana Leech/Hit Lightning that way.
Problem is, the Arcane Robe looks ugly on a Gargoyle and covers up his awesome armor look, plus it also takes the slot of a more useful robe like his Shroud of the Condemned (For when i feel i need the extra 5 INT). I'd be glad to trade in my Unicorn Mane Woven Talons for some Arcane Gargish Talons.
