An idea: Faction Crafters

    As it is right now, the only good a crafter is in factions is for crafting traps and trap removal kits (correct me if I am wrong). Since there seems to be some interest from the devs to increase the amount of players in faction with the faction invasions, maybe they might look at some other ways.

    Faction Crafters:

    1. Alchemists: create faction pots
    2. Blacksmiths: create faction armor and faction weapons.
    3. Carpenters: create faction weapons, faction instruments.
    4. Cooks: create faction food.
    5. Inscription: create faction spell books, and faction spell scrolls.
    6. Lumberjacks: harvest faction wood types.
    7. Mining: dig up faction ore and faction jewels.
    8. Tailors: create faction armor and faction clothes.
    9. Tinkers: create traps as they do now, and create some faction weapons.

    Now all of the items used would not be repairable, so constant creation of these items would be needed. Not sure what types of items, but they would only be faction useable.

    *shrugs*

    To be honest they should have used faction crafting instead of the chests to turn silver in.

    All of the faction artifacts, potions, consumables, gems, faction stronghold runes, could have been tied back to some sort of a crafting skill.

    The only problem is that it would be hard to make them character bound this way. Could probably do something so the first person that equips it gets bound to it (similar to how the Talisman's that are "owned" works).

    Even then, people would start selling the faction arties on vendors and jacking up the rates (which is no different than selling silver IMO).

    Much better to include crafters in the system than simply bypass it all and just have silver farming. Faction toolkits with special faction-only menus to make the items, maybe? And each faction item would probably cost a certain amount of silver to make?

    I would think silver would be part of the ingredients needed for these items. Probably also a good thing to have the items only able to be created in a faction town, so they are forced out of the house, lol...la

    Make faction arties the same as regular arties but they can be enhanced by crafters to there current mods?

    Crafted in a faction town that your faction controls like it used to be. Of course have silver be a required item to make it (in the same amounts as now). I'd say use normal crafting kits. Also make it so the crafter has to have the required recipe to make it and have the recipes spawn on faction monsters?

    And higer the crafters faction rank the better the armor and weapons made from them as well.

    I'd like that idea as long as they removed the ability to transfer faction points, because you'd end up with faction mules becoming the high point holder for a lot of guilds...la
