yes !! i tried to delete the patch and reload etc no luck !! getting the enhanced client now to give it a try !
Lol NOICE! So they create a gift too make up for a flub up they did that affected about 50% of the people, then said gift causes another group the inability to log into the game.

Did you run as administrator? Had a few forget to do that already.

I had a problem earlier with log in. I use CC and this was before patch was even announced. Took thirty minutes before I was able to get in. Others have had that prob also pre patch. *shrugs*
I have "cannot connect to orgin"
the patch apparently isnt updating properly.. I'm unsure what to do, can't get into UO
I wonder if we will get a gift for the gift?
I only get this issue if I forget to open UO Assist as admin.
Not sure if you are using that or not to open your game. Just a thought.
Nope... EC patched up just fine for me.
Already was asked earlier in this thread, response is still the same. Uo is always opened as admin atleast on my end, still the patch fails at the end and then get the *cannot connect to origin* message.
Guess it should be said this is using CC. Not sure if thats the issue but if it is i'd rather not play uo then play ec
Wasn't asked if you were using UOA to open the game. Was just trying to make sure we all covered all possibilities.
Also, friend just mentioned to me that this was happening to him when trying to patch from v70163. Patched just fine when using 70170.
That might be my problem, my client is stuck at v70163. How did he get to 70170 hehe

This just blows... cant get the patch to go through.. tried normal, tried running as admin.. still doesnt patch.
Bad thing was I was already in the game, decided to log out and patch, now cant get back in..
I really hate game patches..
He just told me that he had 70170 on his notebook, older one on his PC. So copied from one machine to the other. I have no idea where you might find the latest client elsewhere.
Stuck on "Verifying Account..." CC. *sighs* and also getting communications issues with origin message.
Ieither get the unable to connect to origin or it hangs at verifing acct, god this migartion thing is getting so tired and lame with all the crap as to why you have to call and try to play some of us work during thier office hours , no vet rewards no publish no anniversary no help no codes and we pay them for this?
If you are running another client when you patch...you have to reinstall.

That's actually what happened to me. I didn't notice that I already had the client open (timed out and hidden behind some other windows) when I ran the patcher.
I was able to grab the files that were changed by the latest patch off my laptop and copy them onto my desktop which fixed it without having to do a full reinstall.
You can find the modified files at the bottom of the patchlog file in your UO directory but for tonight's patch they were:

Even easier than this, I went to the Verinfo file, edited it with notepad and rolled the version back from 56 to 55. This forced me to re-patch.
