Had someone ask this evening for a golem. Not unusual, I made them one. They go out & in about a min come back OooOOo, Ok rez them out they go, Again back in 2 mins OoOoOo... ok wtf, So I go out & watch them. They are in a guild so no prob, All Guard, All stay.. they attack it once, they get hit & hit & hit & OoOOooO.....?? Did something change here on them. I got so curious I made one for myself & tried it, sure enough the golem keeps hitting you now with any hand wep, So I tried a archer I had & thats ok, for you're standing away... So I am taking it either the training with one is now nerfed (another tink income lost, like there was a big income anyways) or is there a problem since our last patch (I know it worked before for I saw many training in Luna area).. Anyone know what has changed

Watched one closely & they now look as if they continually twitch one being attacked. Kinda funny really, looks like the DT's from all the neon colors about. lol

Maybe the devs are cracking down big time on the AFK golem battles. just my two cents but it does seem that way from what you have said.

Then again power crystals and clockwork assemblys are the next turn in....

Dang all this time collecting 100 percent poison weapons... LoL

I noticed that too the other day. I told it to stay, ran off screen and hid myself, that helped. You can also attack the golem first and then give it a few guard me commands, that should work too. :)

You are still able to train on a golem without it attacking you, only that the guarding rules work differently since the pet ai system has been changed.

Instead of telling your golem to guard you, say 'all stop' followed by 'all follow me'. Doing it this way means that the golem is being told to follow you and ignore any hostiles that are attacking it.

Nowadays if a golem (or any pet) is being attacked by its controller while guarding, it will go into what looks like a spaz attack and will hit its owner if it gets too close. The way to fix it is to follow the instructions stated above.

    Hope this helps.

Well I didn't think I was loosing it (completely:lol:) yet. That did the trick Meldannen, the All Stop, All Follow me (or all Stay) new commands worked like the old ones use to. Thanks

Golems aside you can train with a 100% poison weapon on a charmed (via spellweaving) arctic ogre lord.

yeah, it'd suck to actually have to fight creatures and raise skills the way it was intended. laziness.
