Are the town vendors costs higher on your server

I was scouting out your server and noticed that the town vendor was selling horses for 2k gold and a house placement tool was 2-4k gold. Are all the cost of game vendor items more expensive on this server? IE houses and regs?

I haven't played since 99, so this may seem like a stupid question.
Why is it so much more?

Player vendors may be pricier on Atlantic than on other shards. However, NPC vendor prices are similar to other shards. A horse from an NPC stable master was between 600-700 gold between 2000 and 2001, and it has been the same price between 0ct. 2008 and the present. In other words, I've seen no significant NPC price increase in the past 9 years.

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of people buying at that particular stable? I've noticed that prices at some vendors will increase or decrease depending on how often and how much of something is bought....

So does that mean the cost of houses has increased?

I'm a returning player as well, and as such have had to buy quite a few horses recently (due to getting my UO legs back after all the deaths lol) and don't believe I've ever spent over 600g for a horse from the stables in Brit (Tram). I think because you're in Fel stables that's why they cost more. Everything seems priced more in Fel. Try to buy a horse from Tram facet.

As far as housing goes I'm not sure what the economy was like before but I was able to find a nice plot next to the ocean in Felucca (11x12 2 story, but it was the biggest size I found that I could place after searching places for a week straight) for around 70-90k. Of course you have to put more gold into the house to build it up but at least I have the plot
