Atlas functionalty lost from KR that would be a nice "put-back"...

Since last patch was essential a "put-back" patch for a few KR and even 3d UI elements, I think the devs need to keep this trend alive.

Next up should be the sub-screen that was removed from the Atlas system. The texture file is still in the Default UI as Atlasmap_option_bg.dds and held the various types of pins, markers, labels, and waypoints that we could define in the UI both on the atlas/radar map as well as in the game window.

I thought I had a screenshot of it in action, but cannot seem to find it at the moment.

At the end of the KR modding period, i had begun to redesign the KR mapsystem to give it a more elegant and usefuller look.

Have you tried to intigrate the KR Mapsystem into the EC Interfacesystem? I am going to try it, but i have much todo at the moment with the newest changes.

  3. One thing that I very much like about the Cartographer program is being able to drag it off onto a second monitor. You can't do this with the KR map gump. Monitors are getting pretty cheap now, with more people getting them. Now, if we can do that with the old style KR map, great!

What I don't like about the Cartographer is the horrible resolution when you zoom in.

I don't think you will be able to drag the map gump onto a second screen when running full screen mode, because this would mean to outsource the map into an external program.

You should be able to go to windowed mode and resize the EC window so that it's larger than your main monitor and protrudes onto the one with your extended desktop. Then you can drag the map over there.

I also miss the several waypoint pins and markers. I used to have ones for t-map spots, champ altars, POIs, friends houses, etc.
