Bags of Sending: Do they or don't they

Discussion in 'UO Chesapeake' started by Ransom_of_BiC, May 14, 2010.

  1. I had heard, sometime in the past, that bags of sending were no longer available in the game, and that the 'charges' for them were also not available. After doing a smidge of research it looks like they ARE available, just harder to get and charge.

Can someone give me the low down on these?

what changed on them is that since you quit, the weight that you're able to send per charge has changed which is better because gold weighs a lot less these days than it once did and you can send more of it per charge

as far as bags and powder not spawning, i never heard that

When I came back a few months ago, I did the quests to get more bags and powder. I didn't see how they have changed or that they are harder. I just think fewer people do them and so there is a big mark-up if you purchase them from a vendor. I spent about 3-4 hours total doing both quests and got like 300 powder, 4 bags of sending, 7 pet summoning balls, 2 bracelets of binding, and 1 picnic basket. I think that the only thing that did change is that they bag and pet summoning ball are no longer insurable.
  4. And this may be the key. Misinformation, and actually just a minor change.
