I remember only seeing a couple posts wanting this, do most not care for this, or think it's a bad idea? if so, I'll move along. If not, I think it'd be a good idea. There is a 'below' layer under Sosaria, been there, Old Magincia, yew, Buc's Den, New Haven even has a fishing area in theirs.
I think it'd have to be directly under houses for coding and practicality
I might like to rent mine out, make a Bed & Breakfast or something, or sell, or lease it, so it might need a separate title.
Since we aren't gonna get a second house, I'd settle for a basement I bought or leased from someone.
Similar to a house under a house.
Maybe later they could make catacombs out of the space left with entrances here and there.

I was told that it's not possible to do..... which I think is BS.... since we have house teleporters. You don't need to be "below" your house this can be done with a separate server like a new "facet" and it can be just a black mat that has 32x32 plots. And all it would require is a special "teleporter" that takes you to your 32x32. Every account could be given a teleporter and it could just fill from one plot to another each plot could work much like a house only with only one level. And it could have special dungeon/cavern/house tile sets..... allowing folk to build a dungeon or cave like area. Each one could have 5k in storage and maybe 1200 lockdowns.... or whatever.... Anyway it'd be neat if you could have one. I've suggested it many times over only to be told it's not possible.... which honestly I think is BS. Now I'm no programmer or coder or anything like that but if we have houses.... and house teleporters that can be "linked" to other houses.... then we have housing customization I honestly can't see why we can't have one..... other than well they don't want us to.

I'd even pay about 20 bucks to get a basement. (Limit one per account).... it would be a great addition. Just saying.

me too, any idea who said that? If a Dev, I don't want to waste others or my time, when I could be bringing up mergers. Most have been under Bucs, it's still there, the area under haven is many times that size with rooms, fishing docks, etc, the one in yew is only 10x10, but it's there. If it can't be done, I wonder how they did those? The Keep? multi level w/ basement+. Aren't some cells in Yew prison in a basement area? The Marble room place has a below level. If it can't be done, I'd like to hear it.

90% of the termur map is unused black space around the underworld/abyss/cities, it's not really enough for every player but if spaced evenly they could probably fit about 60 or so 8x8 "basements" on every shard that could be raffled off like new-mag houses (larger would mean actually expanding the map size of one of the facets) and have a "basement ladder" teleporter that teleports you to the one you own when double clicked. (there's better ways.....wayyy better ways to do this but doing it this way would require basicly no changes on the server as aboslutely everything talked about already exists)

BTW, when a dev says "not possible" what it means is "we don't want to spend any time or money on that", technically it's a simple problem, all the functionality to do that already exists in the game...having worked as a programmer for a large company they're probably required to say that line when asked instead of the truth as the truth of "you're paying us good money but we don't really feel like doing that much work" tends to not win favor with your customers.

A lower lvl of ships would be cool also. Still a good game regardless =)

Hehe.. here's a thought, make certain parts of the ocean able to have "dock towns" kinda like well you know Dock Town! That would be a step in the right direction to make the "High Seas" more interesting.
