Being interupted casting remove curse & close wounds....

  1. Does being 120 swords/tact/anat/parry make it almost impossible to be interupted when casting close wounds/cleanse by fire/remove curse?? Right now I'm over 115 on all 4 and still get interupted a lot when fighting in doom gauntlet. I tried to find this info else where but not find it.

    get some jewley and a scroll and cast protection on yourself.

    stays on after death, never get interupted again

    Or Run 4/6 casting, which I find a pain to work into my suit with the other mods I love, with fc 4 you can cast close wounds dammed near as fast as a mages mini heal spell.

    sorry for the dbl post here but dammed do i feel like a fool, My Pally archer runs 0/0 casting anyway, why the hell didnt i think of casting protection. My surviveability (is that a word) just increased tenfold.

    Don't forget, it drops your Resist Spells and your Phys Resist. FC1,2,3,4 will be nullified to FC0 for example too.
     
  6. +4 faster casting is definately preferred over using protection, as you can cast about every spell without too much interuption. it is difficult to obtain without building a suit specifically for it.

    protection will help if you find yourself getting interupted a lot trying to cure poison or heal with close wounds, if you do not have and fast casting properties. you will be casting even slower with protection active, and it also means you will be frozen for some spells even longer. and the decrease in resist means even more poisoning, greater stat decrease, longer paralyzation and curses.

    i try to avoid using protection, as it's a hinderance in developing more effective stategies against powerful foes (and pvp), but i'll use it in pvm when fighting a large groups that can interupt frequently, even with faster casting.
