Today I was clipping black plants to make dyes. One of the black hops gave a yellow clipping! Has anyone else experienced this?

No?? But, I might go clip a couple to test if I can remember which character has the plants on her.

is it possible that it was a yellow hops? I only ask this because Ive noticed that the non bright ones appear black but say the right color.

I don't think this is the case ... I planted 8 seeds from a plant I had crossed. When I was done clipping there were 7 black and 1 yellow clippings in my pack.

I've clipped a lot of the 'peculiar' type plants ... never had it happen before, so I'm truly hoping it was some sort of not-to-be-repeated glitch.
