Is there a way to tell what reward you get based on what type of BOD you're turning in?

    Yes and no...

There is a means of seeing what the MINIMUM reward you will get is. This is what used to be the standard reward for the BOD.

Use the BOD Calculator link on the main uo.stratics.com page, or consult a chart like Tower of Roses. The actual point system for the BODs can can be found in the EA Knowledge Base, which you can access via uoherald.com's support links, or the specific questions have their links in several of the FAQs on this forum.

However, in the 6 months or so, the Devs got sneaky, and added a seemingly random bonus to the BOD's point total (you check the point total vs. the chart, to see your reward). This bonus can bump Tailor BODs 1-2 steps, at least, and Smith BODs up to 4 steps. As a result, BOD rewards are a LOT more random than they used to be.
