Bring back the EM

    ? How many ppl think it would be cost efective to bring them back and how would be keep in check some of the problems we saw back when we had EM events.

    The problem is that you would need an EM who knows how UO works.
    And there is no one left in EA who does.

    So would many, many others. But it's against EA's policy to put anyone in a position of power/authority who knows, much less cares anything about the game.

    I've worked for another (big) MMORPG that had/has a large team of volunteers. It's definitely a feasible thing, you just need to work it out properly, especially legally.
    The UO counselor lawsuit was just ridiculous.

    I can imagine is now scared to use volunteers, but it's definitely possible.

    WOW must do something right with a few million players. Heck even Dofus has millions of players and UO and Sims Online have how many?

    well at its peek UO was 250k and it was not EA

    WOW came out 6? years later and cost how much to make?

    UO does fine as it only cost 250k to make lol

    EA acquired Ultima series in 1992, Ultima Online went into production in 1995, alpha test in early 1996, beta tested early 1997 through the summer in 1997 and released publicly fall 1997.

    Ultima Online has Always been with a EA tag

    Played WOW all of 3 months grinded a few charactors to level 60, worked a month made them all level 70 with burning crusade, spent a total of 4 months playing wow, no itch to even reactivate my account there
