Will someone explain to me how bushido confidence and parry work now? I did find some information, but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is.

I'm working on making a defensive template and would like to know how these two skills operate, and if they compliment each other.

I believe that when you parry something with confidence going you get back stamina and life. Not quite to sure on that.

Bushido and parry compliment each other quite well though. I believe the chance to parry at 120 bush 120 parry with a one handed weapon is 35%. With a two handed weapon it is something in the 40% area. If you use a shield though it drops to 5%.

With those and maxed defense chance increase my samurai is quite unhittable.
