buying dragon barding deeds

Discussion in 'UO Siege Perilous' started by Hugibear, May 27, 2009.

Hugi needs a good amount of these, paying 10k per deed.

  2. You might be able to get a friend to make you some at that price but they take 750 ingots each so the real price is closer to 20k each. Of course, if you've got the ingots some people will do it free.

ok are you guys the ingot market setters? Becuase i dont see anyone currently buying reg ingots. I will buy them 10k per ya know why, someone will want to get rid of reg ingots and say hell atleast i am getting value for something that is otherwise sittin in a chest. In case you ladies havent noticed this shard is dead, I mean dead. I can run around for hours and not see a person. So unless you are selling me dragon barding deeds at 10k per get the **** outta my thread.

One things for sure, you're right about needing alot of these. I've used a shadow barding deed and it didn't last very long (and it was on a char i didn't use all that much). Maybe i missed a way to fix em, i dunno.

Let us know when you find a seller at 10k, I'd like to buy some of those too. Then I'll sell them on my vendor for 25k...the same price as the one on my vendor currently...la

got about a dozen and lookin for more, again if you selling dragon barding deeds I'm buying at 10k per. pm me

Rico why would you leave on it your vendor when it isnt going to sell and just eat up vendor fees. It is a shame you lack the common sense to realize if you priced things to sell and not at what you think it should be you would actually make more gold.

    750 ingots x 30 gp per ingot = 22,500 gp

I have marked it up and will drop the price if need be. That being said, 22.5k is the lowest I would drop it to. You are asking smiths to basically sell their ingots for 13.5 gpp each. I highly doubt you'll find anyone selling them at that price...la

  12. Hugibear

    Hugibear Guest

ok matho let me help you understand a few things. Your math is solid but your logic is flawed 750 x 30 = 22500 is correct. The problem is no one is buying. So you can put that on your vendor all year long and all it will do is chew up gold in vendor fees. Now since there is no market to speak of, people are selling at whatever price they can get. It is very similar to what is going on in the US economy now.
No one buying + huge stock piles of goods = low low prices for those willing to buy. Siege is at the point where if people want to sell goods they have to be flexable and be happy to get what they can.

The ingot market is still solid.. ask Soulweaver. If noone else is buying, save the pile for the inevitable exceptional BoDs.

Guess what? I stole three of them, from the same person. How many ingots did I use to make them? Zero! How much will I sell them for? 25k! If it doesn't sell in a week, it gets pulled and thrown into a chest in my house. No biggy...la

  15. Hugibear

    Hugibear Guest

I would ask Soulweaver but he stopped playin about 2-3months ago. And he was the only one buying ****, hence why the market is in the toilet.

Most of the threads that are buy/sell are selling threads. What does that tell ya? Why is it that I am not having a hard time finding people to do this at my price? Becuase no one is buying. Why cant you guys grasp this concept. If you cant sell the goods at a certain price that means they arent worth it. They are only worth what someone is willin to pay. And guess what I am only willing to pay 10k per dragon barding deed, and I am still buying more.

Psst.. I have 20k iron ingots at least.. and I won't sell them less than 25 gold per. That is my market, and I'd feel sorry for anyone that decides to sell a deed for less than 20 per ingot.. they'd have to be desperate.

Why's it so hard for you to do like you did in the RL picture thread and just keep your face the **** out of it? It's not like we even give a flipping **** about what you have to say or think.

And you don't have a degree in Architecture. Those people actually work.

    Bye bye.

ROFL. Actually I was perma banned for about 3 of those 8 years, so my daily post count is much higher. With that said, posting on the OT forum is where the bulk of my posts in the last 2 years have come from...before that, most came from the Thief forum.

Since I won't be posting in that forum any longer (PvP thief forum), you can either put me on ignore or enjoy my lovely posting here from now on.

One of the great things about the jobs I've had over the last 10 years...my work load allows me to post during work hours...hope you enjoy them...because they will continue. Maybe I can hit 50k posts by the end of the year...la

Ok Costanza let me see if I can follow. You have had your great job for the last 10 years. You graduated in 2002, with a bachelors, so 2002 - 4 year degree =s 1998. That is 11 years ago, you got this great job in your field in your first year of a 4 year degree. Oh here I found your badge for the job you are working at now.

Psst, I'll let you in on a little secret. I went to architecture school part time. It took me 10 years before I completed it after I left the Air Force. You see, some of us actually paid our own way through school, and had families to support at the time, so yes...it is quite possible to get a good job without a degree. It does help if the person hiring you is/was a gradute of the school you are attending. Sorry to burst your little bubble...la

Having no job and hanging out at home all day must be nice at times. Maybe after doing it for years and years, it can get one depressed. So, I suggest you try stepping away from stratics for a moment and head outside... while you're out n about, maybe go apply to a few places for work. Having a job does wonders for a persons spirit!
