I don't need them for training. I'm willing to trade residue to get them. Anyone that is using them to train, please stop and sell them to me -- Ill give you the residue :)

  4. Now you have me curious... 200k is a lot for these low end runics and you arent using them for training... do I dare ask what you are doing with them?

It's top secret :). Let's just say it will give me an opportunity to create the best possible imbued weapon for the purposes I seek. Most will not understand why, but it is for a specialized use. I will add more detail later once I have a good supply of them.

  6. Hmmm I guess I will be watching for that post.

Well if you get anymore, the offer remains open. Just PM me if you get more. Thanks :)

  9. my guess would be low end runic= not many mods..so make the item w usually one good mod w iron ingots so it can be imbued w say ssi or slayer properties?

hmm how much residue u offering per hammer?

i have prob like 30 ish bods for dc, and prob another 20 for shadow that i was gonna use to get residue not sure how much i'll need from gm to 120.

They are no longer crap runics. I haven't shared yet the reason for needing them, but it will become clear to everyone soon. I'll take any you are willing to throw my way :)

I know I promised to tell why I wanted these hammers and since there are so few of them around I figured I would just let you know now. Asahina Yajinden was partially correct in that having only one or two mods on the items allowed me to imbue the other properties I really want, but that is only part of the story. The real reason I wanted these hammers is for the rare times that a mixed (non physical) damage type appears on the weapons. The perfect situation would be as follows:

My crafter creates an exceptional weapon made with iron ignots(I have 100 arms Lore which yields a high damage increase property automatically) and the weapon has 100% of a non physical damage type -- for example 100% Energy. In a perfect situation the weapon would just have the 100% Energy and a bonus to max damage increase. This would allow me to add 3 properties of my choice for the perfect pvm combination. One example would be:

    Arachnid Slayer
    50% Stamina Leech
    50% Mana Leech
    55% Damage Increase
    100% Energy Damage

I use a Dexxer that leeches life, so weapons like this are my bread and butter.

After trial and error, I found that Dull Copper Runics are not as good for this. The perfect runic hammer for this process is the shadow runic. I am still willing to buy as many as anyone is willing to sell. I was reading up on possible updates to the new expansion and that they might be adding damage type as one of the possible properties that could be imbued. If this happens, then I would no longer have a need for the hammers.

  19. Ha Ha i knew i was close didn't even consider the fact sometimes they produce a diff dmg type on the weaps..

i do have quite a few bod's for shadow runics if your still looking atm.

on the same note after imbuing a weap w the properties you want
    for example
    katana
    Demonslayer
    HML 40%
    HSL 40%
    dmg inc 40%

is the chance to enhance w/ ingot type still an option?

wasn't sure if you could re enhance an item afer imbuing...
too bad they got rid of the bonus to durability that DC ingot's offered i had a few weapons i made that had around 400 durability if i remember correct.

that would have been a great way to add extra durability..

    Hi Asahina,

Yes I would still be interested in the shadow runics. To answer your other question, items can only be upgraded by one type -- Either imbuing or by a selected material. You cannot upgrade by both methods. I am usually on around 6:00 p.m. eastern time, so we can catch up then if you want to sell your shadow runics.

    Thanks,

    Slim
