I just returned to UO about a week ago and have come across a few things that I wasnt sure what they were and I was hoping someone could fill me in.

[IMG] There are 2 of these together, tamed, but I am not sure what they are.

[IMG] What is the maroon colored dragon on the left? I have never seen one this color, so far since coming back they all appeared the same color to me.

[IMG] The item was just named "Fire" and I was wondering where it comes from.

[IMG] Lastly, I was lucky enough to get a house placed, but there are a couple of items that seem like they are remnants from a previous house. I was wondering if there is anyway to get them removed? I tried taking a hatchet to them, but that didnt work.

1.) A Volem... Came in a token with early-SA Purchase or I believe there is also a craftable version.

2.) A bugged Dragon... The result of dying while paralyzed in the Medusa Peerless. The bug is fixed so no further pets are affected.

3.) Looks like one of the 6th year vet-reward braziers. Not sure though.

4.) Other than paging a GM, not sure.

    Welcome back!

    1) those are vollem (spelling?). Those who purchased the SA upgrade througha certain date received an item "vollem held in crystal" which when double clicked produced a bonded vollem. No taming required.

2)SA introduced a new pet dying system. I'm not entirely sure which quests puts you on the path to get the dyes.

3)from the Magincia event years ago. The city was destroyed and certain parts of it became "rubble"

4)I think you'll need to contact a GM to assist with the removal. It might take several pages to get them to show up.

This is not true, that Idea was scraped before being implemented. Tazar is correct. Medusa used to cause this.

1 is a vollem, either one made with tinkering or one from the SA purchase reward.

2 there was a bug that discolored pets at one of the champ spawns I believe it was the medusa spawn.

3 looks like mutant seed black ferns obtained in the naturalist quest or via cross pollinating seeds, with the vet reward short brazier on them.

4 needs a GM, they are very much stuck otherwise.

make a 2nd or third floor on your house then you can get up to where they are and get them yourself with either a axe or just unlocking them.

    save calling a GM.

There's also a bug with that type of painting. If it doesn't highlight or display a weight, it's stuck and will require GM intervention. As for the mushrooms, if that's seasonal snow on the ground, they are probably part of the landscape under normal circumstances and will look more at home after the winter effect is turned off. The stretched hide fragment will need a GM to remove it, too.
