all or nothing you unravel to get the special ingredients
then you use them to make the special mods per a menu ;)

I thought it was a system where you have to unravel and collect certain properties to imbue. It seems you can unravel any magic item so saving them up was pointless. Just farm and unravel everything you get for the new materials.
