Can we get a Timer OR require more mana on Infectious Strike Special?

Please do ONE of the following:

    1. Increase Mana Cost

    2. Add a Cooldown after using Special

    3. Not grant it 100% chance to poison target when used (Kind of like how a person isn't garunteed to disarm when they use disarm special).

I know this question has probably been brought up in the past but seriously. Anymore when I fight dexers using a kryss it's just Infectious, Infectios, Infectious... Over and over and over. Whats more aggrivating though is that there is no cooldown on that special. They just spam it and quite literally don't even need to use anything else, just spam that until the person is dead. For the mages out there can we get a freaking cooldown so it's not a rush to cure and mini heal until we die? Yeah there are the greater cure potions we could use and everything while on the RUN. But right after we cure its a garuntee to get re-dpd. Seriously, a no skill 5 year old could play the way an Infectious Strike spamming dexer can.

Make it so that dexers actually require skill, put a timer on those specials so thats not all there relying on. For example if they have bushido and there two specials are on cooldown they can use lightning strikes. If not a timer on all specials then put one on the more devestating and abused ones like Infectious Strike. It's annoying how often that special gets abused. I don't even bother attacking DP Dexers because it's too predictable of what they will do the entire fight (spam the hell out of infectious strike and not even NEED to do anything else).

OR, I don't know maybe make it so it requires more mana so they can't spam it until the sun goes down and comes back up again? On UOGuide it says Mana Cost: 15... Either put a cooldown timer on it or double that mana cost for god sake.

I have been playing with this for a little bit with 120 Chivalry and 20k Karma you have about a 90% chance of curing it seems like from infectious strike. At 2/6 casting and 120 magery, Cleanse by Fire casts at the speed of a regular Magery Cure. But at 120 Chivalry and magery you're giving up your Scribe so no 40 SDI. I have been fighting Infectious Strike spamming dexers without even bothering with potions and just using this cure method. Seriously it shouldn't be all this bad even without potions considering it cures 90% of the time. I can tell you that it's really ridiculous that right after you cure this crap it's instantly re applied. It seriously doesn't require skill at all, and if I had been trying arch cure, that would have been an even bigger joke. I'm just asking that there be something done to the spamming of it. That's really all I have been seeing since this publish came out have been Infectious Strike spamming dexers. Now I think we can all agree that it's NOT just dexers with infectious strike. But it's one step in the right direction to seriously put a stop to the spamming of it.

I even tried dueling a couple Infectious Strike spamming dexers, with my chance to cure it about 90% of the time... A few times the duels would last a LONG time, but as soon as they get that mana. All it takes is Infectious Strike spam over and over. Should not have to resort to using potions if you cure this crap like 90% of the time but even being able to cure it that much doesn't save you. Because there's still a chance you get hit with there wep and whatever is on it, not just the poison. That's all it seems to be about when fighting these guys, whether you can cure quick enough and squeeze in a mini-heal before it's re applied :-/. It requires no skill to mash one button throughout the entire fight, and if you get borred mash "AI" "AI" "AI". This argument is about Infectious Strike though not AI.

I mean I don't even think it's possible to FAIL the special when you are trying to hit your target. I know you can fail to hit your target and all but I don't know if you can actually hit your target but still fail to get off an infectious strike. Yes you can miss but when Infectious Strike goes off does it even actually fail and use a poison use off your weapon? I don't think it does, it seems to pretty much be a guarantee poison no matter when you use it.

If you cure with something other than pots, you become immune for a looooong time after 1-2 cures, even to lethal. I was fighting a nox dexxer the other day and after a few hits he was essentially just wasting mana, as it wasn't hurting me at all after that (and the immunity has a pretty long timer, had to be at least 30 seconds)
