Im woundering if Chiv would be a better choice instead of healing.
    Swords
    tacts
    parry
    bushido
    res spells
    anat
    heal
    120 in Bushido/Parry ,
    is this the basic temp?

This going to be a PvP template? as you have listed Resists

    120 Swords
    120 Bushido
    120 Parry
    100 Tactics
    100 Res Spells
    100 Anatomy
60 Chivalry + 15 (75) only need higher if you want to use Enemy of One (95) Holy Light (105), or if you want to make most of the karma/skill lvl bonuses to spells the higher your Chivalry is..

    120 Swords
    120 Bushido
    120 Parry
    120 Tactics
    120 Resists
    80 Chivalry
    40 Focus/Meditation

Tis a hard template to fit skills in..

If your going to heal with Chivalry then 4FC/6FCR is a must

You could allways try and get an extra 15 skill points in Chivalry to bump it up, or another option would be to not run with Anatomy, then you could bump Tactics, Resists up to 120, and bump Chivalry a little and have the rest in either Focus, or Meditation(depending on suit and fighting style setup)

If this is for PvP, then your gear will also determine how successful you are, as these templates are more defensive than offensive ..

It depends what you are fighting. Some people have had luck using confidence + parrying as their primary healing. While training a new char in shame I had some luck doing so, but found once I got past a few mud pies and earth elementals the damage was too high to consistently replace.

Well if its for PvM, why not play as a Sampire?

It is a pretty solid template. I use a similar set-up on a character, he does very well at all of the SA mini-champs on his own. When paired with another fighter, cross-healing makes us even more effective. It is a good alternative to a Sampire and a bit more flexible too.

You will want to run at least 90 Healing for consistent curing of poison. You will be better off having +GM Swords rather than 120 Bushido/Parry, it will go alot further regarding you hitting more and getting hit less.

I'm just an old vet but here's my two cents.

Why? You already have anatomy, just pick up healing. It only cost a band aid.

Chiv would require mana which a dexxer is already short on. The concept is cool but what are you going to do when your in a fight the drains your mana? Then chiv is useless.

On top of that you would have to bring chiv to 120 and keep high karma to get its maximum effect.

Course the maximum effect of Chiv is a damage bonus 3% short of perfection(before counting the 20% from div fury), 15% swing speed increase, and guaranteed hit to lowest resist.
(And if you traded bush for chiv, could still have anatomy and healing, wear a shield, and use less mana than bushido)

Well If you have a hard hitting weapon with Life Leech on it you donĀ“t need healing at all. Problem is some monsters are immune to LL it even damages you. But well if you have soulstones its no problem at all
