Classic 2D Client

Discussion in 'UHall' started by Hiroki Yamamoto, Jul 19, 2009.

  1. I have recently decided to reinstall UO for a walk down memory lane since I last played back in 2003 however I can't locate the original 2D client. I have found many forum posts in searching that mention the client and which versions are active but I cannot locate a link to download that client to play with.

I hate the 3D graphics, they're half ass and glitchy as hell. Where is the UO I remember?!?

Another question the forum members might be able to help me with, has EA reduced the world size by 60% or is it just me? I don't remember being able to run from Minoc to the XRoads in less than 30 seconds before???

Any help/suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

2D's the reason UO is not on the shelves.......an embarrassment to try and sell.

I play it, and with it's infrastructure, there never will be a magic pill to transform UO into a mega seller it once was.

Like playing Mario Bros./Nintendo(original, late 80's)
