Just want to keep it short and get opinions from you all.

1: Cleanup Pigments are a bit expensive. 250k for 1 charge. Make them 5 charges or lower the price to 75k points per charge?

2: Shame loot. Brittle, cursed, cursed, brittle, cursed.... and what's with -100 luck properity? 5 useless mods to 1 decent if its not a ring or bracelet?

The lewt "seems" better, but in retrospect I think I might have kept 1 braclet so far out of 5000+ items at least. My imbuer doesn't mind the mats till he caps out but once again, cursed, brittle, brittle, cursed.

    What's your thoughts?

    Pub 73 notes

    I did.

Pigments to change monthly. Still to expensive.

Very rare chance to get a "clean" item w/ decent power. The negatives boost the power the item "can" recieve.

I guess it would just be a horribad idea also to let us purchase an Item Bless Deed and slap it on something cursed to negate the cursed and at least now insurable right?

    Quick question...
How many Supremely Accurate Silver Vanquishing OR Power Katanas did you own before Publish 16?

    That is all.

"clean" items with no negative properties at all are not THAT rare. But you have to hunt for them yourself, as there are currently not even semi-good items on any vendors. For some reason most vendor owners are actually trying to sell cursed/brittle/cannot repair crap.

    True snippa.

Just haven't seen a decent weapon yet that I'd use for pvm that wasn't cursed/brittle. Not even posted in the forum here. It's just been jewelry or a shield.

and ya Wizal, lots of stuff people don't wanna buy ;/

  7. 1. They ALREADY changed it to 5 charges. Like two weeks ago.

    2. The negative mods are there because this equipment is powerful. It would be horrible for the game if we didn't have them on these pieces.

What would make you happy? Should every monster drop a great item that is clean every time? Should you expect to average one great clean item per hour? Per day? What exactly?

I have found over 200 items that qualify as GREAT training gear, starter gear, inscription gear, or have great potential if the negative mods can ever be removed.

I am however also enjoying the 100+ Relic Fragments I am getting each day too..

    darn ol patch notes :sad3:

    Ty for the update Kylie.

I am not asking for the world on a plate guys, was just asking your opinions on the drop variety/intesity/mod new system in shame now that we have got to test it out for close to 2 weeks now. Getting other player feedback so I can better judge my position. Just seemed a little heavy on cursed an brittle etc but I have been wrong a bunch, my wife can testify.

    Thnx

The new system works out well. The key thing is to think beyond "If I just put this on now will it improve my suit" and towards the various things you can do with the loot.

If you have an imbuer, look for loot with Durability XX% (50% or higher), if you want throwaway points you have the Virtue Artifacts as well as items that spawn with Lower Requirements XX% (again 50% or higher). I've even ended up looting Pitchforks because of this... I NEVER loot pitchforks. So if I'm looking at loot I usually simply ignore anyway, then that's a success in my book.

And there are some good clean items, sometimes it's simply getting a high end single mod, othertimes it may be getting a mix of mid level mods without a negative.

The items that spawn as "Cannot be Repaired" can, if metal, be enhanced with Dull Copper to extend their usefulness.

Just have to take a different look at things and read the threads on the new stuff to see what all can be done in the new system.

Shame will probably slow down in a month or two... but mostly because by that time we'll probably see the next dungeon revamped as well.

The Whetstone will keep people farming at the least for the crystals and the component parts.

lets hope they keep ideas like this for each dungeon, it keeps people coming back for something, Or it makes for something to sell on a vendor.

This. The only problem is that if it takes two months per dungeon, given that we have 40+ places to update it will take a lot of time. Let's hope they built a system to upgrade the system based on the experience made with Shame.

Dermot is 100% right - better double check all your shame loot for Lower Requirements and Durability Bonuses - i just sorted through all of my artifacts for what i keep and what i unravel AND now new, what i turn in for cleanup points - and i cam across this one (pic added)

My results for a week's worth of Looting in Shame - casual play:

    - 500 relic frags (no idea on th e MR & EE)

    - 6,000 turn-in points

    - 100 TOTALLY clean items w/unusual mods (set aside to imbue when I have PoF to spare)

    - 150 shields that I enhanced with DC making even the brittle/no repair items 225/225 Dur. May not last long in PvP, but will in for a year's play in PvM.

100ish - mostly jewels - withe -100 Luck but 5 or less total mods. Simple imbue changes the -100 to +1 up to +100 My faves are the MR4 -100 jewels:)

100's of cursed items that can be used when hunting with friends or solo. Most monsters t bodies, so all you need to do is get Rezzed and come pack to your bod...

The most common "negative mod" is -100 Luck. I'm sure the PvP peeps cry over that:)

It's also nice to put on a "throwaway suit" with 35 Dur but crazy high mods and just go pound on something till it falls off!

Plus i have over 500 items i"m saving for if and when the magic negtaion tool ever comes out:)

I am VERY pleased with Shame!

If you look at that with the EC/Pinco`s it would prolly list like 800-900 intensity or more. I have a couple 1500 ones. Its easy to see which ones will give huge turn in points or relics with the intensities shown.

I think the loot is fine how it is. The drop rate of powerfull clean items are imo somewhat like the arty drop rate is.

And i dont mind the cursed / brittle ect items. I use the ones that are really good and if they poof or get looted so what? I got plenty of replacements.

One thing id like is to be able to do more than summon champs with the shame points.

The new items are awesome. I don't think anything so far is way too overpowered because of the limitations. It’s been fun sorting the stuff again.
