Can the pigments of Tokuno or even the lesser pigments of Tokuno be used just the dye the upholstery of chairs such as the cozy elven chair?

you should try it first with plant dyes, they react the same way and cheaper and easier to get :)

You can use Tok pigments & Natural Dyes on furniture crafted from special wood. There is no way to dye just the upholstery on the cozy elven chairs, though. The whole thing will be dyed one uniform color.
