Please allow combining Powder of Fortification like upcoming runic tools combining.
combine them or maybe offer tiered PoF rewards. Higher value bod might give a 25 charge bottle or something like that.
also one thing that would be real nice for PoF would be a context menu that you could choose to fully powder an item with one shot
I've asked for this many times.
I think everything with charges should be able to be combined. It keeps items counts down and lets us focus on playing the game instead of managing stacks of goods.
Any serious crafter has dozens of these - why not let you pile them together? You can stack plant dyes - why not powder of fort charges?
I see no problem with that at all, bring it on!
Have to say I agree with that!
I voted 100, purely because of this, imagine messing up, or forgetting to lock down 10k charges!
they should have stacked from the beginning..
also gm tinkered tools should have 1000s of charges also.. no reason not to.
I'd love to combine those, and dozens of other things like those stinking dyes... you should be able to combine many things much the same way the fishing baits combine.
And also please make it so 70 people can Co-own a House, as MalagAste has so passionately implored!!
Make EVERY resource, dye and consummable stackable/combinable.
Goal for the Dev Team:
DO NOT INTRODUCE ANY NEW ITEMS/RESOURCES THAT DON'T STACK IN FUTURE PUBLISHES. TAKE A HALF HOUR AND MAKE A NEW 'STACKED' GRAPHIC IF YOU HAVE TO.
The p(l)ayers will rejoice.
House co-ownership should be on an account basis, not on a per-character basis.
Having to co-own all my chars one at a time is a PITA.
Oh I agree... but I hate being just a "friend" in my own house. Friends can NOT SECURE items. This means as a "Friend" I can't place containers... also a PITA... But I shouldn't BE a friend in my OWN house... I should be a Co-owner or owner. If all my stinking accounts are linked now via the silly account migration BS then they should know I AM the owner.
I would really like to hear from the people who are voting "no" on this poll as to why they voted that.
How about: Partial jars of powder from BOD rewards should be able to combine into each other for a max of 10 charges per jar.
In addition, allow glasscrafters to craft a Large Jar which can hold up to 100 charges of PoF. (2 stones empty + 1 stone per 10 powder charges weight).
Now that's a cool approach. I might considering upping how much the BOD reward could hold a bit. Maybe 25 for the BOD reward.
I can see absolutely no downside here with combinability of PoF, or anything else for that matter. We need more combined and stacked resources.
Make it so...
I'd love for them to make this combineable. The can add in alot of tools and items to this wish list as well.
I hate to sit there with a bag full of mortars trying to make kegs, if allowed this would make life so much easer. It still wouldnt stop the crafters infact i think it would help them greatly.
No way, keep it simple.
Powder of Fortification, PoF, is so much more heavily used and needed nowadays I'd like to see;
1. PoF increased to 20 or 25 charges per bottle,
2. Able to be combined,
3. Option to PoF 10 durability, 50 durability or 100 durability, all at once
ah thats good thinkin, i was pondering maybe a gump you could enter how many charges ya wanted to use but the 3 tier options on a context would prolly be easier to add.
There's no option for "Yes, up to 60,000 charges."
Would be nice.
Sure, why not.
More urgent things are still to be done though.
At this stage of the game Stacking or Combining.
No for Combining because for the very reason anything combined cannot be uncombined.
Stacking of fully charge jars only. With weight gain per number.
Stacking items are a good thing.
90% votes for combining PoF
Devs, your move.
Can I vote yes again?
Here you go Devs - 90% of players want this change in some fashion.
Compare that to the healing changes which no one but EM event campers want.
How about listening to your playerbase?
I am all for this the higher the better.
And the increased co-owener # for homes!
I am for it, but I can very easily explain the no votes -
Rares Collectors are voting "no" because several EMs used 50-use POFs as event prizes several years ago, and they are, of course, now non-spawning rares.
Nothing that is a consumable as part of normal crafting (i.e. Dyes aren't crafting, but deco in nature, while POF is pretty much mandatory for imbuing) should ever be considered a rare.
alrighty how bout an item or addon: The Powder Keg-can be filled with Powder of Fortification or Powder of Translocation. Fills at 1000 charges. Is able to "Dispense" powder in increments of your choosing.
New item requires new code to implement. New code may contain new bugs. Less chances to get it working after all.
Not really, they could just use the same code they use for potion kegs. This would be a great help if they at least make them and other stuff STACK.
As for the crafter tools I do think they should stack or at least auto use the next tool when 'you have worn out your tool' after all these year this message always makes me worry
Not to put too fine a point on it, but simply allowing the POF to stack into each other is going to require new code too.
After having read the thread, and always being one who likes craftables that make a profession potentially useful again, I'm all for craftable jars that perhaps hold 100 (heck, I'd go to 1,000, really) charges in them.
No matter what's done though, it will take new code.
I voted no as it's
1. Not really a big issue, I don't want to see time wasted on something like this when there's far more pressing issues
2. will cause people to utterly hoarde POF, as it will no longer take lockdowns to keep a lot in stock
I would probably be in favor of a small bump, perhaps to 25 charges (and just given out like that from the quest) and weighting 2 stones instead, or perhaps being able to stack up to 10 jars, but none more than that.
One thing I hate is when I go to make tools with my GM tinkering, and I get crappy usage charges on them. Items that are GM made should have at least 200+ uses in my opinion. Talismans don't seem to matter but they should. Some items are worse than others.
Another thing that I hate that they took out for the new client, is the double stacked item graphics. What I mean is if there is one fish steak, that's all you see. If there is more than one, you see one right behind the other one in the graphic. That way you know there's more than one at least. I think the bandages are the same way along with some other stuff (like other food, etc). Plus sometimes it makes good deco. Why did they change this?
POF and dyes - tokuno dyes, hair dyes, compassion dyes... and add text to the old ones stating their color. It will save me hudreds of lockdowns and relief my strained eyes.
And don't forget binder book for Scroll Of Alacrity!
Ah, this has bugged me about the EC ever since I started using it. That would be another good fix to restore more of the classic client's look to the EC.
Me too! Sometimes that graphic is preferred. How are you supposed to know there is more than one thing there without mousing over?
I always thought power crystals should stack.
